Appeared in nine games on the year for Florida, seeing time on the offensive line against FAU, UAB, Kentucky, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia and Vanderbilt during the regular season and in the Gator Bowl versus Ohio State…Member of the Gators’ field goal unit…Additionally, saw action in the Gators 24-17 victory over Ohio State in the 2012 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl.
Dressed in all of Florida’s games and played in 10 (all but Miami University, Georgia and South Carolina)…Saw time at center in Florida’s wins over Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Appalachian State and Florida State…Played on special teams in the goal-line package and field-goal team in Florida’s victory over Tennessee…Saw his first action of the season in Florida’s victory over USF.
Played in a total of 13 games for the Gators during his redshirt freshman season, only missing the Tennessee game…Saw snaps in the 2009 SEC Championship Game, as well as the 2010 Allstate Sugar Bowl vs. Cincinnati.
Dressed for Florida’s contests against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game and Oklahoma in the FedEx BCS National Championship Game, but did not see action for the Gators during the season due to an injured left knee…Took a medical redshirt.
