CAREER:

Saw action in 27 games, with eight starts during his tenure as a Gator…Made 11 appearances as a true freshman on the defensive line, but switched back to the offensive line during the spring of 2009…Transferred to Boston College following the 2012 season.

 

2012:

Did not see action in 2012 due to injury.

 

2011:

Played in 12 games and started at right tackle for the last seven games of the regular season against LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Furman and Florida State…Missed the 2012 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl due to injury…Earned the Scrap Iron Award following his efforts in the Vanderbilt game.

 

2010:

Sidelined for the entire season and earned a medical redshirt.

 

2009:

Played in Florida’s first four games of the season against Charleston Southern, Troy, Tennessee and Kentucky, but suffered a season-ending knee injury in September…Took 37 snaps in the victory over Kentucky on the road…Saw game action in UF’s 23-13 win over Tennessee in the first game of the SEC season for the Gators, grading out at 85 percent after taking 13 snaps…Contributed to Florida’s winning efforts against Troy the second game of the season and also lined up at tight end…Saw game action on the line in Florida’s season opener against Charleston Southern, recording one knock down in the win…Received a medical redshirt after missing the final 10 games of the season.

 

2008:

Played in 11 games during his true freshman campaign, securing one start at defensive tackle against Kentucky…Recorded seven tackles, two solo and five assisted, 1.5 sacks and TFL…Graded out a Champion for his work on the special teams’ unit that blocked a Miami punt and led to a Florida safety…Recorded his first career sack at Arkansas…Made his first start as a Gator against Kentucky on Homecoming…Rallied for a half of a quarterback sack against The Citadel…Was sidelined for the final three games of the season after a leg injury.

 

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

USA Today first-team All-American…EA Sports All-American…Selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl…First-team Class 4A all-state offensive line selection as a senior…Honored on the Florida Football Magazine’s 2007 Post-Season Florida Phenoms’ team…Racked up over 50 pancake blocks and did not allow a sack his junior season en route to Class 4A all-state first-team honors…On the defensive side, registered 97 tackles (27 for loss), eight sacks, forced four fumbles and recovered four…St. Petersburg Times First-Team All-Suncoast selection as a junior…Five-star recruit by Rivals.com and No. 11 overall nationally…No. 4 offensive tackle and five-star prospect by Scout.com…Ranked in the ESPN 150…MVP of the Scout.com combine in March of 2007…Played both ways at Armwood, starring at left tackle and defensive end…Transfer from Freedom High School in Tampa…Coached by Sean Callahan.
