2006: Played in 12 games...Earned a gunner position on Florida’s kickoff and punt teams early in the season...Saw time on special teams in the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game...With UF trailing, 21-17, against Arkansas in the SEC Championship Game, he recovered a muffed punt by the Hogs in their own end zone, giving the Gators a 24-21 advantage that they would not relinquish en route to the seventh SEC title in school history; the play marked Pierre-Louis’ first career touchdown...Made a season-high two tackles in the win over LSU, including a solo stop on a punt that pinned the Tigers inside their own 10-yard line.

 

PREP: Totaled 36 tackles, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions (both returned for scores) as a junior...Named to the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-District 16 team as a senior...Played wide receiver, kicked and punted for a 6-4 Lely High School team that reached the semifinals of the Class 3A-Region 4 semifinals...Also a track and field star at Lely High School, winning the Class 4A state titles in the long jump and triple jump as a junior...Chose Florida over several schools, including West Virginia, Wisconsin, Iowa and Ohio State..
