2008: Started three games at weak-side
linebacker, collecting 30 tackles, two and a half tackles-for-loss, two pass
break-ups and one interception...Had two tackles and half a QB sack in the BCS
National Championship game against Oklahoma...Tied for third among UF defenders
with five tackles in the SEC Championship Game...Made his first career
interception in the third quarter in the Gators’ victory over Georgia...Also
tipped a pass against Georgia that was intercepted by teammate Ahmad
Black...Returned to action against Kentucky and recorded two tackles after
missing two games due to injury.
2007: Appeared in all 13 games, starting
at weak side linebacker for all except versus Georgia…Ranked second on the
squad in total tackles with 85 with a balanced 43 solo and 42 assisted…Had a
career-high 10 tackles in the Capital One Bowl game versus Michigan…Collected
nine tackles in four different games including Troy and three consecutive games
versus LSU, Kentucky and Georgia…Returned one fumble 19 yards for his first
career score versus Tennessee…Was the only member of the squad to return a fumble
for a touchdown…Recorded an additional fumble recovery in the victory over
Troy…Had five tackles for a total loss of seven yards, ranking fifth on the

2006: The leading tackler among UF
freshmen with 22 stops on the year…Saw time with UF’s
kickoff contingent in all 14 contests…Took the field in a special teams’ role
during the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game…Registered a solo tackle in
the Gators’ win over Arkansas in the SEC Championship Game…Saw action on
defense and special teams versus Florida State…Made his first career start
against Western Carolina and responded with a career high-tying four tackles,
including one for loss…Notched a pair of tackles in the win over South
Carolina…Made a solo tackle in kickoff coverage versus Vanderbilt…Assisted on a

best linebackers to participate in the game…On the second play of the game in
Suwannee’s 33-14 loss to Raines, made a 64-yard touchdown catch on a trick
