CAREER: A redshirt junior wide receiver who appeared in two games (Vanderbilt, Appalachian State) in 2010.
2010: Saw his first career action against Vanderbilt, recording two catches for 16 yards. Also saw action against Appalachian State and dressed for seven other contests (USF, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Appalachian State, Florida State).
2009: Member of the scout team, but did not see game action…enrolled in Florida in June of 2008 and walked on in August of 2009…Originally competed with the track team before joining the football team…Placed 15th in the triple jump at the 2009 SEC Indoor Championships and recorded a season-best mark of 14.14m/46-4.75 at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational on Jan. 24.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA: Played tight end and wide receiver for Therrell High School...In his junior and senior year he caught a combined 45 catches for 476 yards…Also competed in track and basketball. Finished sixth in the triple jump at the 2008 Georgia high school state championships … Track coach was Tony Rambo… Personal bests include: 46-2 in the triple jump and 22-6 in the long jump…In 2006-07 he was nominated the Most Valuable Field Event Athlete…For the 2006-07 season he received the Varsity’s Most Valuable Basketball Player Award…Ranked in the top 10 percent of his class and had perfect attendance in high school.
