Enrolled at Florida in July of 2009 and walked on in August of 2009…Switched from long snapper to kicker in the spring of 2010…Served as UF’s primary holder in 2011 and 2012…With his first collegiate debut at Alabama, he became the fourth member of his family to play football at an SEC school, as Ike was a long snapper and holder at South Carolina from 2003-06, Chas was a snapper at Auburn in 2004-05 and Clayton was a holder at Auburn in 2008-09…Younger brother Kyle is currently on the Gators…Three year letter-winner for the Gators.
Appeared in all 13 games in the season for the Gators as the primary holder on all field goals and extra points.
Saw action in all 13 games as the holder on Gator field goals and extra points…A key to UF being 24-of-29 (82.8 percent) of field goals on the season and a perfect 33-for-33 on extra points.
Saw first game action as a holder on both of Chas Henry’s successful field goal attempts at Alabama and Georgia, including Henry’s game-winning 37-yard field goal in overtime vs. the Bulldogs, and served as the holder for the final seven games.
Did not see any action while playing long snapper.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Four-year football letterman at The First Academy under coach Leroy Kinard…Played quarterback and long snapper…Three-year starter and team captain for one year…Team won the 2007 and 2008 District Championship…Also lettered in basketball, tennis and track in high school.
