2008: Saw action in all 14 games as a
freshman, starting in five against Kentucky, Vanderbilt, South Carolina,
Alabama and Oklahoma…Started at running back in the 2009 FedEx BCS National
Championship Game, where he rushed nine times for 23 yards…Also played an
intricate role in UF’s win over Alabama in the SEC
Championship Game, rushing for 53 yards and catching one touchdown pass…Set a
career high with 14 rushing attempts in the SEC Championship…Average touchdown
run in 2008 was 32.7 yards…Five of his seven rushing touchdowns were 36 or more
yards and three of the seven were 40 yards or more…Ranked fourth on the team in
rushing (605 yards on 78 carries) and sixth in receiving (141 yards, 15
receptions)…Rushed for 100 or more yards in two of UF’s
games, racking up 103 yards against Arkansas and a career-high 129 yards against

TO FLORIDA: Considered
one of the nation’s fastest recruits…Second-team Class 4A all-state selection
at running back as a senior…Gained 1,401 yards on the ground, along with 16
touchdowns on 157 carries during his senior year…Rushed for 21 scores and 1,761
yards on 170 touches in junior campaign…Second-team all-state Class 3A
selection…Plans to be on the UF men’s track team running sprints…Ran the
100-meter dash at the Florida state final, the fastest time recorded at that
event at 10.37 seconds…Clocked a 10.25 at the AAU Junior Olympics, the
second-fastest time ever in the state and the fastest clocking recorded by a
high school senior that year…Finished 13th nationally with a 21.04 time in the
200-meter dash…No. 4 athlete and ranked 53rd in the ESPN 150…Earned four-star
billing by Rivals.com and was part of the Rivals.com250…Listed as the
