2009: Named a semifinalist for the 2009 Lou Groza Award, given to the nation’s top placekicker...Finished 22-for-30 on field goal attempts in 2009, including six-for-nine beyond 40 yards...Made a career-long 56-yard field goal against Georgia, the longest field goal in the SEC on the season...Made two or more field goals in seven of eight SEC regular-season games this season, and added a pair against Alabama in the SEC title game...Booted a 40-yard field goal in the Sugar Bowl win over Cincinnati, making him 4-for-4 on the year between 40-49 yards...Was 2-for-2 on field goal attempts, connecting from 48 and 32 yards against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. It was the second-longest FG in school history. Amassed 546 yards on eight kickoffs (68.2) in with win...His 56-yarder against the Bulldogs was the longest field goal in the SEC on the season. He is the only Gator since 1984 to connect on two field goals over 51 yards in the same season...Connected a field-goal attempt from 27 yards and twice from 21, but missed a 37-yard attempt against Mississippi State. Tallied 451 yards on seven kickoffs (64.4 average) and was 2-for-3 on PATs in the road victory...Made the game-winning field goal in the closing seconds of the game versus Arkansas from 27 yards out. Also connected on 30 and 51-yard field-goal attempts. Was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week and the Lou Groza Placekicker “Star of the Week” for his efforts...Was 2-for-3 in field goal attempts, connecting from 28 and 32 yards, but missed from 20 at LSU.
