CAREER: Joined the Gators as a walk-on in the spring of 2008…Saw action in three games during his tenure at UF, all in 2009.
2009: Played in three games his redshirt junior season in 2009, including Charleston Southern, Troy and FIU…Rushed nine times for 26 yards (2.9 avg.), with a long play of 13 yards… • Dressed out for the 2010 Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, but did not play in the Gators’ 51-24 win over Cincinnati…Suited up for the 2009 SEC Championship against Alabama, but did not see game action…Dressed as the Gators defeated FSU, 37-10, on senior day, but did not get in on game action…Ran nine times for 26-yards, including a season-long 13 yarder, as UF defeated FIU in
Gainesville…Dressed for UF’s home match-up with Tennessee, as well as Arkansas on Homecoming and the home game against Vanderbilt, but did not see game action…Additionally saw time at running back in Florida’s 56-6 route of Troy the second game of the season…Saw his first action as a Gator in the season opener as the Gators topped Charleston Southern, 62-3.
2008: Dressed for four games on the season, Hawaii, Miami, The Citadel and Oklahoma, but did not see game action as a Gator.
PREP: A two-year letterman at fullback and running back for Lemon Bay High School…Chosen as team MVP, Charlotte County Defensive Player of the Year, all-state running back and Gatorade Player of the Year during his senior season, which he led the team in both rushing (1,152) and receiving yards (197) … Ran for three touchdowns and caught his fourth score of the game in the first game of his senior season…Became the all-time leading rusher at fullback as a senior for the Manta Rays…Recognized as Most Improved Player during his junior season in which the team had the best record in school history…High school coach was Michael Messina.
