CAREER:
A redshirt senior linebacker
who has appeared in 27 games with 12 starts... Collected 70 total tackles (35
solo) in his career...Made eight tackles for a total loss of 36 yards.
2008: Named a team captain for the 2008
season...Started 11 games on the season, one at middle linebacker and 10 at
weak-side linebacker...Led the team and set a career-high with seven tackles
against Vanderbilt...Recorded five tackles for the second game in a row against
Tennessee and recovered his second fumble of the season which led to a Florida
field goal...Set a then career-high with five tackles against Miami...Broke his
thumb during the Hawaii game and played with a cast for several
weeks...Recovered a fumble in the second quarter against Hawaii that led to a

2007: Appeared in all 13 games, with one
start versus Georgia at weak side linebacker and on kickoff team...Collected 21

two, making his first career sack for a loss of nine yards versus
Auburn...Tallied another sack for a loss of 10 in his first career start versus

tackle for a loss of three yards versus Troy...Matched that season high of four
tackles versus LSU (one solo) and versus Georgia (three solo)...Collected his
first career fumble recovery in the victory over Florida Atlantic...Had a
stretch of four games during midseason with at least one solo and one assisted
tackle in each game, beginning against Auburn and ending against Georgia.
2006: Played in two games…Earned a spot
on the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll…Dressed for both the Tostitos BCS National
Championship Game and the SEC Championship Game versus Arkansas but did not see
action in either contest…Had a then-career-high three tackles, including one
for loss, in the win over Western Carolina…Dressed but did not see action in 10
games…Made his Gator debut against UCF and had a solo tackle.
2005: Did not see any game action and
was a member of the scout team…Named to the 2005 SEC Freshman Academic Honor
Roll.
PREP: Finished his senior season with a
team-leading 120 tackles, two interceptions, six sacks and over 20
assists…Four-year starter, three-year letterwinner
and captain of First Coast football team…The only athlete in Jacksonville to be
named to the all-conference team on defense two-consecutive years (2003 and
2004)…Also named to 2003 and 2004 All-City team…2004 Defensive Player of the
