CAREER: A redshirt sophomore who has seen action in 25 games as a Gator, including one start.
2010: Fullback who was also a member of the field-goal and extra-point units who played in all but the final three games of the season, including making his first career start against Miami University in the season opener.
2009: A 2009 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selection for his work in the classroom, earning a 3.47 GPA in political science…Played in all 14 of Florida’s games in 2009, helping the Gators to their fourth all-time Sugar Bowl victory, while contributing in the SEC Championship Game versus Alabama…Saw action in every game on special teams, especially in UF’s goal-line package…Contributed as an important member of special teams as UF defeated FSU on Senior Day…A key contributor and member of the field-goal unit that helped the Gators defeat South Carolina 24-14 in Columbia…Played a crucial role in the goal-line package, as well as on special teams in UF’s win over Mississippi State in Starkville…Saw time for Florida in the 23-20 win over Arkansas on Homecoming…Played on special teams and at fullback in Florida’s first two SEC road wins at Kentucky and LSU…Got in on game action in UF’s 23-13 win over Tennessee in the SEC opener at home…Saw his first action as a Gator in the season opener as the Gators defeated Charleston Southern 62-3, and returned to contribute time against Troy in Florida’s second win of the season.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA: Projected to help Florida at H-back as well as see time at linebacker…First-team Class AA all-state selection as a senior…Helped lead Class AA Buford to a 15-0 undefeated season and a state title his senior year…Compiled 115 tackles as a junior with three sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 13 games…Atlanta Journal-Constitution all-state first-team selection as a junior…Helped guide Buford to a 12-1 record as a junior and advance to the State Elite 8…Rivals.com three-star prospect…Teammate in high school with fellow signee, defensive lineman Omar Hunter…Coached by Jess Simpson.
