2009: A 2009 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selection for his work in the classroom, earning a 3.69 GPA as a biology major…Played in two games his redshirt junior season, including Charleston Southern and FIU…Was on the sideline as Florida won its fourth all-time Sugar Bowl with a 51-24 victory over Cincinnati Jan. 1…Saw action in the victory over FIU in Gainesville…Additionally suited up for UF’s home game against Vanderbilt…Dressed for Florida’s first three games of the season against Charleston Southern, Troy and Tennessee and saw action against CSU.
2008: Dressed for every game during the season except Tennessee and Arkansas…Saw action in three games, Kentucky, South Carolina and The Citadel…First career action as a Gator came against the Wildcats as he subbed in on the offensive line…The Scout Team Player of the Week for his role in preparing Florida for the season-opener against Hawaii.
2007: Dressed for five games, but did not play against Western Kentucky, Troy, Florida Atlantic, Florida State and Michigan…Named Scout Team Player of the Week against Auburn.
PREP: Played defensive end and offensive tackle for Bishop John J. Snyder high school…Coached by Robert Harrison…Also participated in basketball track and weightlifting…Was the salutatorian of his senior class.
