CAREER: A 2009 Ray Guy Award finalist...Appeared in 41 games over the last three seasons handling the punting duties for the Gators...Has averaged 42.1 yards per punt with nearly half of his punts ending up inside the opponents’ 20-yard line.

 

2009: One of three finalists for the 2009 Ray Guy Award...Named Second-Team All-SEC by the AP and Third-Team All-SEC by Phil Steele...Allowed only five punt returns the entire season, the fewest in the nation...Gave up only 21 punt return yards, the second-best total in the nation in 2009...Fifteen of his 34 punts landed inside of the opponents’ 20-yard line and eight were longer than 50 yards...Punted just once for 44 yards in the Sugar Bowl win over Cincinnati...Tallied 195 yards on four punts for an SEC Championship Game record average of 48.8, including two punts for over 50 yards and two that landed inside the 20-yard line, versus Alabama in the SEC Championship Game...Had a 38-yard punt on the Gators’ opening drive against Florida State, forcing the Seminoles to start their drive at the two-yard line...Averaged 42.3 yards after tallying 127 yards on three punts at South Carolina, all of which landed inside the 20-yard line...Earned SEC Special Teams Player of the Week after having his best outing of the season against Vanderbilt, averaging 52.8 yards on four punts, with a long of 58 yards...Tallied 145 yards on three punts (48.3 average), including a season-long 61 yarder against Georgia. 2008: One of 10 punters in the nation chosen as a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award…On the season, he averaged 43.4 yards per punt, which ranked third in the SECFifteen of his 44 punts on the season have gone for 50 or more yards, and 21 have been inside the 20-yard-line…Averaged 51.7 yards on three punts in the BCS National Championship Game against Oklahoma...Punted three times for an average of 47.7 yards in the SEC Championship Game, breaking the previous single-game average mark set in 2005 by Georgia’s Gordon Ely-Kelso...Had a career-long 67-yard punt versus Florida State, the fifth-longest punt in the SEC on the season and the eighth longest punt in school history...Averaged 45.6 yards on seven punts against Miami, resulting in three inside the 20…Executed a fake punt and ran for 17 yards on 4th-and-16 during the third quarter of the season opener against Hawaii…Unleashed a then career-long 60-yard punt in the fourth quarter against Hawaii and matched the figure versus South Carolina…After 37 punts without a touchback in 2007, Henry had three in the season opener against Hawaii...A nominee for the 2008 Atlanta Area Council Boy Scouts of America Peach of an Athlete Award.

 

2007: Had 37 punts as a freshman, totaling 1,453 yards and a 39.3 average…Henry's kicks resulted in 19 fair catches and 14 inside of the 20-yard line…The Gators allowed a school-record low 22 yards on just five returns that season…Henry did his part by not punting the ball into the end zone at all...Pinned Florida State inside of the five-yard line on both punts he attempted, highlighted by a season-long punt of 54 yards…Tallied four punts for 168 yards (42.0 avg.) versus Florida Atlantic, including one inside of the 20-yard line…Made one punt at South Carolina for 27 yards for a fair catch inside the 20-yard line...Had a pair of punts for 81 yards against Vanderbilt, with both kicks landing inside of the Commodores’ 20-yard line…Launched a then-career-long 53-yard punt as one of his three punts against Georgia, yielding only one return for eight yards…His initial punt against the Dawgs was downed at the Georgia one-yard line, setting up Wondy Pierre-Louis’ 25-yard interception that was returned for a touchdown…Totaled three punts for 137 yards (45.7 avg.) at Kentucky…Made two punts at LSU for 74 yards, with a long of 40, and landed one inside of the 20-yard line…Kicked four punts for 144 yards (36.0) with a long of 36 and landed one inside of the 20 against Auburn…Punted three times for 158 yards (39.5 avg.) against Ole Miss…Had three punts against Tennessee for 101 yards (33.7 avg.), with a long of 37 yards…Totaled three punts for 109 yards (36.3 avg.), with two for fair catches and left one inside of the 20 against Troy…Made his Gator debut against Western Kentucky, registering three punts for 115 yards…Forced two fair catches inside of the 20.

 

PREP: A versatile athlete rated the No. 1 punter in the nation by Scout.com…Was the varsity punter and kicker since his freshman year at East Paulding High School…Became the starting quarterback during his sophomore year…During his junior campaign, Henry averaged 46 yards per kick and broke the school record for longest punt with a 66-yard effort…Established another school mark for longest field goal made with a 52-yard conversion in his junior season…Led his squad to the quarterfinals of the Georgia state playoffs as quarterback by throwing for more than 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns…High school coach was John Reid.
