CAREER: Has seen action in 41 games at Florida over the past three seasons...2008: A key member of several special teams’ units for the Gators and serves as the holder on field goals and extra points...Recovered a failed onside kick attempt in the win over Georgia...2007: Repeat selection on the SEC Academic Honor Roll...A mainstay within the Gators’ special teams’ corps, appearing on punt team and holding all PAT and field-goal tries last season...Delivered key block downfield as Brandon James broke free for an 83-yard punt return for a touchdown against Tennessee...2006: Member of the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll for the first time...Handled holding duties for Chris Hetland’s five PATs and two field goals in Florida’s 41-14 win over Ohio State in the Tostitos BCS Championship Game...Held the ball for Hetland’s five PATs and one field goal in the SEC Championship Game against Arkansas...After a botched snap for a PAT in the first quarter at Vanderbilt, he found teammate Tate Casey in the back of the end zone for the Gators’ first two-point conversion of the season...Had one carry for three yards on Florida’s fake field-goal attempt against Kentucky...Made Gator debut in the 34-7 win over Southern Miss on the kickoff and punt teams...2005: Sat out the season due to transfer rules and was a member of the scout team...2004: Redshirted at Utah under current UF head coach Urban Meyer...PREP: Set a school record by throwing five touchdowns in a game and also passed for 389 yards as a prep quarterback at The First Academy...Lettered in football, basketball and baseball for four years apiece...On the final play of his high school career, he intercepted a pass and returned it 70 yards for a TD...PERSONAL: Was born on May 6, 1985, in Los Angeles, Calif...Oldest of three children to Butch and Julie Rowley...Has two sisters, Melissa and Ashley...Enjoys surfing and spending time at the beach...His cousin, Ike Crofoot, was a long snapper at South Carolina, while another cousin, Chas Crofoot, was a long snapper at Auburn...MAJOR: Business Administration.
