CAREER: Played in 50 career games, earning starts in 33 contests…Enrolled at UF in January of 2006.


2010: Started in 11 of Florida’s 13 games (did not play vs. Miami University and did not start vs. Vanderbilt)…Started at left guard and graded out a Champion versus Kentucky and Georgia…Started and graded out a Champion in UF’s win over Tennessee…Made his season debut with a start over USF.


2009: Played in and started all 14 of Florida’s games his redshirt junior season in 2009, including the 2009 SEC Championship and the 2010 Allstate Sugar Bowl victory versus Cincinnati…Florida’s starter at left tackle…Started his 12th-straight game in the win over Florida State…Helped the Gators defeat FIU at home, but went out with a possible ankle sprain midway through the contest…Helped lead the Gators to a 41-17 win over Georgia in Jacksonville, while contributing to UF’s 27-3 victory against Vanderbilt in Gainesville…Graded out at 89 percent in the 41-7 victory at Kentucky, where he took 35 snaps and recorded one knockdown…Took 49 snaps in Florida’s 23-13 win over Tennessee in the SEC opener…Started at left tackle, graded out at 81 percent, and contributed to Florida’s winning efforts against Troy on the line that allowed Florida to amass 663 yards total offense…Made the start at left tackle in the season opener against Charleston Southern, while grading out 89 percent and recording two knock downs.


2008: Saw action in all 14 of UF’s games during the season, securing eight starts…Started at left guard in the 2008 SEC Championship Game and the 2009 FedEx BCS National Championship Game…Also secured starts against Arkansas, LSU, Kentucky, Georgia, Vanderbilt and South Carolina…Recorded his first collegiate start at Arkansas after playing the entire fourth quarter against Ole Miss at left guard…Graded out a Champion at 85 percent against Florida State and Vanderbilt…Was named one of the five UF Offensive Players of the Game, grading out at 80 percent as a part of the front-five unit, against LSU…Season-best performance came against South Carolina, where he earned Champions’ Club honors after grading out at 90 percent.


2007: Played in every game except at Kentucky and against Georgia…Earned time at center relieving Drew Miller against Vanderbilt, Florida Atlantic and Florida State…Played in three positions…Saw action at tackle in goal line situations.


2006: Redshirted his first season on the UF campus.


PREP: Rated as the No. 6 offensive lineman in the country according to…Listed as the No. 3 national offensive guard prospect according to…Earned Parade All-American status as a senior…Selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Game…Named Gatorade Player of the Year in North Carolina in 2005…Played on the offensive line in the North Carolina/South Carolina Shrine Bowl, helping lead the Tar Heel State to a 28-24 win…Three-year starter on the offensive line at Southern H.S…Nicknamed “Pancake Man” by his high school teammates and coaches…Recorded 97 pancakes his senior year and 90 as a junior…Chose Florida over Florida State, N.C. State, Tennessee and Virginia.
