What They're Saying About ANTHONY GUERRERO

"The first thing you notice about him is his stocky build. He does not look the part of a good offensive lineman. The next thing you notice is the way he clears space for the running backs. This junior college transfer can play." (April 21, 2003)
Guerry Smith, GatorBait

"Anthony Guerrero is right behind Shannon, fighting Shannon for the starting job. He'll end up getting playing time. Guerrero is doing a nice job. He's a tough guy. He needs to lose some weight, get more knowledgeable and get in better cardiovascular condition, but he's a guy that's going to be a nice addition. He's a tough kid that really loves the game, and he's a big, strong guy." (April 10, 2003)

"He has a really big heart and a deep, serious concern for the game. He's a tough guy. He's a mauler. He's a little bit nasty. He's a big, wide body guy who can get up under people's pads. He's a tough inside guy." (April 10, 2003)

"When you recruit junior college players, you want to know if they can help you win a championship and you want to know if they can get along with the guys. Our guys have done those things. They're having no problems at all." (August 12, 2003)
Joe Wickline, Former UF Offensive Line Coach
