CAREER Played in 28 regular season games with three starts for 480 plays and also played in the 1999 Orange Bowl, 2000 Citrus Bowl and 2002 Orange Bowl...Played both tight end and guard during the 1998 season...Missed the last half of the 2000 season with a knee injury

2001 SEASON A redshirt senior who was a backup at guard...Received the offensive most persistent award this spring...Played in eight of 11 regular season games (all but Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee), drawing one start (Kentucky) for 159 plays...Also played in the Orange Bowl

2000: Was one of the squad's top offensive guards prior to suffering a knee injury in week six vs. LSU which sidelined him for rest of the season...Played in five of the first six games (all but Tennessee) with two starts (vs. Ball State and Kentucky) for 168 plays before suffering a knee injury vs. LSU in week six which sidelined then him for the rest of the season...Underwent surgery on Oct. 12th for a dislocated kneecap suffered in the LSU game...Started season opener against Ball State at right guard, the first start of his career...Suffered an ankle injury in the first spring scrimmage and missed the final three weeks of drills...

1999: A top backup at right guard... Played in 10 of 12 games (all but Tennessee and Alabama) for 97 plays... Also played in Citrus Bowl... Received the offensive unit's Most Persistent Award during spring...

1998: Played in five regular season games (The Citadel, Northeast Louisiana, Georgia, Vanderbilt, South Carolina) for 56 plays... Also played in Orange Bowl... A backup at tight end and guard... Moved to tight end prior to Georgia game... Played at guard vs. The Citadel and Northeast Louisiana and at tight end vs. Georgia, Vanderbilt and South Carolina... Saw action in 11 plays as a backup tight end vs. Georgia... Received the offensive unit's Most Persistent Award during spring drills...

1997: Did not see any game action and was redshirted... Worked with the scout team on the offensive line...

Prep: One of the state's top offensive linemen in 1996 who earned prep All-America recognition... Named to the National Recruiting Advisor's prep All-America Team and was ranked among the nation's top 12 offensive guard prospects by that publication... Also received All-America honors from Prep Star, which ranked him among the top 20 OL in the SEC region... A three-year starter... Two-time All-Central Florida selection... Tampa Tribune State Bluechip List... Graded out at 92 percent as a senior... High school coach was Phil Ziglar... Also visited Notre Dame and South Carolina...
