CAREER: Began his career at linebacker but was moved to defensive end due to injuries...Played in 42 games with 18 starts for 1,571 during his career...Started the 2000 Citrus Bowl and 2002 Orange Bowl and also played in the 2001 Sugar Bowl...110 career tackles, including 49 solo with 36 "Big Plays" (two sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 14 forced hurries, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, five pass deflections and one blocked punt)...

2002: Saw action in 11 games with eight starts for 531 plays...Missed the LSU and Auburn games with an ankle injury...Started the first six games (UAB, Miami, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss) FSU and Michigan...Selected to play in the Gridiron Classic...Registered 48 tackles and 19 "Big Plays" (two sacks, three TBL, 12 FH and two FR)...Tied for third on the team with 12 forced hurries... Played in seven of 11 regular season games (missed LSU, Auburn, Georgia and Vanderbilt with shoulder injury) for 163 plays...Started the 2002 Orange Bowl as a defensive end due to injuries at that spot...Recorded 10 tackles on the season, eight on special teams...Eight special teams tackles ranked eighth on the squad...Missed the majority of spring drills after fracturing his forearm...

2000: Battled Byron Hardmon all season for starting role at the strong-side linebacker post...Also played some at defensive end...Played in all 12 regular season games with eight starts (Kentucky at defensive end; LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Florida State and SEC Championship versus Auburn at strongside linebacker)...Also appeared in the Sugar Bowl...513 snaps was second most on squad for a linebacker...38 total tackles on season with 11 "Big Plays" (four TFL, two forced fumbles, one forced hurry, three pass deflections, one blocked punt)...11 "Big Plays" ranked best for a linebacker and tied for sixth on the squad...Suffered a broken left arm early during spring drills and missed the majority of spring practices...

1998: Did not see any game action and was redshirted...Worked with the scout team at linebacker...

PREP: One of the state's top defensive performers in 1997 who garnered prep All-America honors...National Bluechips Recruiting Service ranked him among the top 10 prospects in the nation at weakside linebacker and he was also named a Bluechips All-American...Named to SuperPrep's All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the top 25 linebacker prospects in the nation...A first-team all-state (4A) selection in both 1996 and 1997 as a defensive end/outside linebacker...The Space Coast Defensive Area Player of the Year in 1997...National Recruiting Advisor ranked him among the top eight weakside linebacker prospects in the southeast...Named to Florida's Super Seniors Team...Senior class president...120 total tackles in senior season, including 14 quarterback sacks...High school coach was Chuck Wood...Received the Kyle J. Braid Leadership Scholarship and was Class President in his last three years of high school...
