1997 SEASON As a true freshman started five of the final six games of the season at middle linebacker for Alabama...Credited with 46 total tackles on the year with nine for losses...Named to SEC All-Freshman Team PREP Regarded as one of the nation's premier prep linebackers while at The Bolles School in Jacksonville...A three-time first-team all-state selection (class 4A) who was rated the nation's top prep linebacker in 1996 by SuperPrep Magazine...Credited with 616 career tackles, including 247 in his senior year in 1996 with 51 coming behind the line of scrimmage
