2001: A redshirt junior...Battling Ben Troupe for the top backup role at tight end...Played in 10 of 11 games (missed UL-Monroe due to illness), with one start (Vanderbilt) for 211 plays...Five catches for 58 yards (11.6 avg) and two touchdowns on the season....SEC Academic Honor Roll selection

2000: Played in all 12 regular season games with one start (Ball State) for 410 plays...Also played in the Sugar Bowl...A SEC Academic Honor Roll selection...12 catches for 167 yards (13.9 average) and two TDs...12 receptions tied for first for a tight end and tied for seventh on squad and 167 receiving yards ranked seventh on squad...Tied for fourth on squad in TD receptions with two...Scored first career touchdown on 8-yard reception and caught two passes for 23 yards vs. Ball State in season opener...Scored his second career touchdown with his season-long 32-yard reception and totaled 39 receiving-yards with two receptions vs. Kentucky...Had a 23 yard TD catch against Miami in the Sugar Bowl...Received the offensive unit's Big Play Award at the conclusion of spring drills...

1999: Named to SEC Academic Honor Roll... The No. 2 tight end during the first 11 games of the season before suffering a broken clavicle vs. Florida State, which sidelined him for the rest of the year... Played in 11 of 12 games (all but SEC Championship) with two starts (vs. Alabama and Vanderbilt) for 320 plays... Named, along with Aaron Walker, UF's Most Improved Tight End this spring... Seven receptions for 118 yards (16.9 avg.), second best for a tight end... Caught one pass for 14 yards in career debut vs. Western Michigan... Caught one pass for 14 yards and converted a two-point conversion (three-yard pass from Doug Johnson) in first career start vs. Alabama... Caught two passes for 26 yards vs. South Carolina... Career-high three catches for 64 yards vs. Florida State before suffering a broken clavicle...

1998: Did not see any game action and was redshirted... Worked with the scout team at tight end...

Prep: A tight end prospect from Georgia who received prep All-America honors... Named to SuperPrep All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the top dozen tight end prospects in the country... Named to National Recruiting Advisor All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the top 15 tight end prospects in the nation... National Recruiting Advisor ranked him among the top six tight end prospects in the southeast... A superior student (3.99 GPA) who was a four-year starter in football, basketball and baseball at Mt. Zion HS... Caught 13 passes for 221 yards in 1997 after catching 25 for 385 yards in 1996... Also played as a end on defense and had 10 quarterback sacks in 1997... High school coach was Jackie Green... Also visited Boston College, Georgia Tech and Northwestern...
