2001: A back-up at defensive tackle...Played in six of 11 regular season games (Marshall, UL-Monroe, Miss. St. LSU, Vanderbilt and South Carolina) for 41 plays, and the Orange Bowl...Two tackles and one "Big Play" (one TBL) on the year...

2000: Backup at defensive tackle...Re-injured right knee during spring and missed majority of practice time...Missed much of fall drills with knee injury...Played in seven of 12 regular season games (Ball State, Middle Tennessee, Kentucky, LSU, Auburn, Vanderbilt and SEC Championship vs. Auburn) for 95 plays...Also played in the Nokia Sugar Bowl...Eight tackles with one "Big Play" (one QB sack (-7)) on the year...Recorded four tackles and one "Big Play" (one QBS (-7)) vs. Middle Tennessee...

1999: Saw some playing time at defensive tackle before suffering a knee injury prior to Florida State game, which sidelined him for the rest of the season...Played in six of 12 games (Western Michigan, Central Florida, LSU, Auburn, Vanderbilt, South Carolina) for 117 plays before suffering a knee injury and did not play vs. Florida State and Alabama in the SEC Championship Game...Four tackles and one "Big Play" (one FH) on the year...First game action in season opener against Western Michigan and had one tackle...First career "Big Play" (one FH) vs. UCF in 36 plays of action...Two tackles vs. South Carolina...

PREP: A standout defensive linemen who garnered all-america recognition...Named to National Bluechips All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the nation's top dozen players at strongside defensive end...Named to PrepStar's All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the top 20 defensive line prospects in the SEC region...SuperPrep named him to its All-Dixie Team and ranked him among the state of Florida's top 35 players overall and top six defensive linemen...Second-team all-state (6A)...112 tackles in '98 with 15 quarterback sacks...1998 and 1999 Florida state champion in shot put and discus...Shot put throw of 64-4 at the 1999 Florida Relays was the state of Florida's best throw in 20 years and the fourth-best in state history...4.3 GPA...In conjunction with the 1999 Super Bowl in Miami, he was presented the first annual NFL/Ford C.I.T.Y. Scholar-Athlete Award (which was presented at a ceremony by former NFL greats Ronnie Lott and Sterling Sharpe), chosen after a national search of high school players, which included a field of 27 finalists...High school coach was Roger Coffey...Also visited Iowa...
