CAREER: Seen action in 41 career games with 35 starts for 2,582 plays...Also started the 2000 Citrus Bowl and 2001 Nokia Sugar Bowl, including the 2003 Outback Bowl, he has started three consecutive New Year's Day bowl game...204 career tackles and 42 "Big Plays" (29 pass deflections, eight tackles behind the line, two forced fumbles, two quarterback hurries, one interception and one fumble recovery,)...153 of his 204 tackles have been solo...Missed all of the 2001 season due to a torn pectoral muscle...

2002: Starter at cornerback for all 13 games, and who saw action on the punt block team...Ranked third for most plays by a member of the secondary with 965...Was a UF game captain the weeks of the Miami and FSU games... 2000: Did not see action until the sixth game of the season against LSU due to an ankle injury...Played in seven of 12 regular season games (missed first five games of year with ankle injury) with seven starts (LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Florida State and SEC Championship Game vs. Auburn) and 384 snaps...Also started in the Sugar Bowl...35 tackles (30 solo) and eight "Big Plays" (interception, 6 pass deflections, TFL) on season...Co-recipient of UF's Reliable Award during spring...Played and started in his first game of season vs. LSU, and intercepted a pass, led squad with 10 tackles and received game ball... PREP: Considered one of the nation's elite cornerback prospects who received consensus prep All-America honors...Named the top cornerback prospect in the country by both the National Recruiting Advisor and National Bluechips Recruiting Service and both publications named him to its prep All-America contingent...Named to PrepStar's All-America Dream Team and that publication ranked him among the top five DB's in the nation...The Sporting News selected him one of the top 65 overall players in the nation...Named to Georgia's Super Seniors Team...A four-year starter at Atlanta's Douglass HS (all four years at DB, 3 years at WR and one year at RB)...53 tackles and six interceptions as a junior in '96 and 33 tackles with three interceptions during an injury-marred senior season, which saw him miss six games with an ankle injury...High school coach was Michael Sims...Also visited Auburn, Georgia Tech and Ohio State...
