2000: Did not see any game action...Received UF's Most Improved Tight End Award following spring 2000 drills...

1999: Did not see any game action and was redshirted... Worked with the scout team at tight end...

Prep: Named to SuperPrep's All-Dixie Team and that publication ranked him among the top two tight end prospects in the state of Florida... Named to PrepStar's SEC All-Region Team... Led heavily run-oriented team in receiving in 1998 (10 catches for 150 yards) and also had 60 tackles as a defensive lineman... Named All-Area in 1997 and 1998... Named team captain for 1998... Also lettered in track and weightlifting... Named Best Tight End at UF's 1998 summer camp... Member of National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes... Named high school's scholar-athlete of the year in 1997-98... High school coach was Brent Hall... Also visited Clemson, Miami and Notre Dame...
