CAREER A redshirt senior...Has played in 47 regular season games with 14 starts for 858 plays and also played in the 2000 Citrus Bowl and the 2001 Sugar Bowl and started the 2002 Orange Bowl...Six career receptions for 20 yards and one TD...Three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection (1998, 1999 and 2000)...Began Gator career as a tight end, was moved to fullback before the start of the 1998 season, moved back to tight end for 2000 season and moved back to fullback in spring 2001...2001 SEC Academic Honor Roll selection

2001 SEASON A redshirt senior who battled freshman Ray Snell for the squad's top fullback spot...Served as the team's deep snapper on the punt team...Suffered a knee injury late in spring drills which required surgery. Did not return to practice until August 20...Played in all 11 regular season games with five starts (Auburn, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Florida State and Tennessee) for 303 plays...Also started the 2002 Orange Bowl...Four receptions for 23 yards and a TD on the season...Three-yard TD reception vs. UL-Monroe was the first of his career, rushing or receiving, and the first for a UF fullback since Rod Frazier in 1997...2001 SEC Academic Honor Roll selection

2000 SEASON Backup at tight end...Saw action in all 12 games for 109 plays...Also played in the Sugar Bowl...Started the year at fullback and was moved to tight end...Suffered a sprained ankle midway through spring drills and missed the final two weeks of practice...A SEC Academic Honor Roll selection...Co-recipient of UF's Reliable Award on offense following spring drills...Also saw work at center late in fall drills due to injuries at that spot

1999 SEASON UF's top fullback for most of the year...SEC Academic Honor Roll selection...Played in 11 of 12 games (all but South Carolina) with six starts (Western Michigan, Central Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU and Auburn) for 249 plays...Also played in Citrus Bowl...Two catches for minus three yards on the season with no rushes...Sprained an ankle vs. Vanderbilt and missed the South Carolina game...Received the offensive unit's Most Courageous Award during spring

1998 SEASON Saw action in each of UF's 11 regular season games with three starts (Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Florida State) for 194 plays...Moved from tight end to fullback during fall and was the top backup at that spot in each of first eight games...Moved into top spot at fullback for last three games of season due to knee injury Rod Frazier suffered vs. Georgia...Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll...Also a key member of all of UF's special teams units...Missed Orange Bowl due to foot injury

1997 SEASON Did not see any game action and was redshirted...Worked with the scout team at tight end

PREP A two-way lineman who was recruited as a tight end to UF...SuperPrep Magazine ranked him among the state's overall Top 50 players ...Named to PrepStar's All-SEC Regional Team as a defensive linemen...Earned third-team All-State (4A) honors in 1996 as an offensive lineman...A three-year, two-way line starter...Also excelled in baseball and weightlifting...Selected All-Conference in baseball three times (1994, 1995, 1996)...High school coach was Ricky Thomas...Superb student (4.28 GPA)...Also visited Duke and Virginia...Received an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point...Was a member of the National Honor Society and student council president...Was a representative to Boys' State...Vice-president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes
