CAREER: Played in 26 games, with 20 starts, for 1,290 plays, and also started the 2001 Sugar Bowl...Second-team Freshman All-America selection by The Sporting News in 2000...Coaches' SEC All-Freshman Team for 2000...Registered 121 tackles (79 solo) and 60.8 "Big Plays" (5.8 QB sacks (-35), 38 FH, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, nine tackles behind the line, one blocked kick, and three pass deflections)...Declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season...

2002: Honorable Mention All-SEC...Emerged as one of the top defensive lineman, leading the line in tackles, big plays and forced hurries with 32.3 and 20, respectively...Started at defensive end all 12 games he played in and led the defensive line with 711 plays...Served as a game captain for the Kentucky and Auburn games...Led the defense with 32.3 "Big Plays" (2.3 sacks, 6 TBL, 20 FH, one FF, one FR, two PD)...Led the defensive lineman with 78 tackles this season...Had a team-high 20 forced hurries...One of seven defensive players that registered at least two sacks...Tied a then career-high of seven total tackles and had one tackle for loss vs. Miami...Forced a fumble vs. Tennessee and recovered it which set the Gators up for a field goal as time expired in the first half.
