Played in 38 regular season games with two starts for 623 plays and also played in the 1998 Citrus Bowl, 2001 Nokia Sugar Bowl and started the 2000 Citrus Bowl...A true senior who was a first-team Associated Press All-SEC choice in 1999 as an all-purpose runner and ranked second on UF squad in rushing with 577 yards...Earned 12 All-America honors, tying three-time Olympian Dennis Mitchell for the most in UF history, in track with top times in the 100 meters of 10.17 (2000 NCAA Outdoor Championships) and 20.56 in 200 meters (1998 SEC Outdoor Championships) ...Averaged 11.29 yards every time he has touched the ball in his Gator career...2,756 career all-purpose yards...Member of UF's 4x100 meter relay team that finished with a time of 38.35 seconds to win the 2000 NCAA National Championship...Rushed for 1,010 yards on 155 carries (6.51 avg.) and five TDs...26 career receptions for 392 yards (15.07 avg.) and four TDs...47 kickoffs for 1,183 yards (25.2 avg.) and two TDs...Returned 16 punts for 171 yards (10.7 avg.)

1998 Season
Saw action in six regular season games (The Citadel, Northeast Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and South Carolina) for 42 plays... Injured his knee vs. Kentucky and missed Alabama, LSU, Auburn and Georgia games... 13 carries for 50 yards and two receptions for 44 yards on the year... Also had four kickoff returns for 106 yards (26.5 avg.) and two punt returns for 18 yards...

1997 Season
Ranked second on the team with 317 rushing yards on 42 carries (7.5 avg.) and two TDs and had seven catches for 120 yards and three TDs... Team-high nine kickoff returns for a team-best 287 yards (31.9 avg.: tops on team) and one TD (94-yard return vs. Arkansas)... Saw action in all 11 games for 157 plays... Also played in Citrus Bowl... Averaged 12.5 yards every time he touched the ball (58 touches for 724 yds)... Six total TDs (two rush, three receiving, one kickoff return) ranked fourth on team... Two rushing TDs was second-best on team... Made Gator debut vs. Southern Mississippi, rushing for 16 yards on two carries and catching one pass for 29 yards... Set a UF record for best yards per carry (min. 5 atts.) with 159 yards on just seven carries (22.7 avg.) and first two career TDs (48 and 12-yard runs) vs. Central Michigan... Prep:
One of the nation's premier prep running backs in 1995... Named to the prestigious Parade All-America Team... Also received prep All-America honors from Emfinger's National Blue Chips Report and was rated among the top three in the country in its "speed running back" category... The number one rated prep running back in the East by Bluechips Illustrated... First-team All-State... Rushed for 1,529 yards (7.9 avg.) with 17 TDs in nine games in 1995 after gaining 1,200 yards as a junior in 1994... Has been timed at 10.53 for 100m and 21.6 for 200m, times which put him among the nation's elite high school sprinters... High school coach was Roger Grove... Named to high school academic honor roll... Also visited Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State and Penn State during the recruiting process.
