The University of Florida’s Athletic Association uses student managers to help all of our collegiate athletic teams to perform at their highest levels. Students are assigned to each sport based off of the need, and their area of interest. All of our student managers are enrolled full-time in classes at the University of Florida, and dedicate a vast amount of their time outside of the classroom to UF’s athletic teams. Student managers help issue and maintain equipment, process laundry, as well as many other tasks in the athletic association. Student managers are present at practices and home events, and have the opportunity to travel on road games with their respective sports. Students work with the UF coaches and assist them with specific duties at practice, and in the equipment rooms. These students are a valued and committed part of the University of Florida’s athletic teams, and earn various levels of scholarship money. These students develop relationships with coaches, athletes, administrators, and get the opportunities to have experiences of a lifetime.
