2007: Competed in the Mountain Dew Invitational and the Tiger Invitational … Came in seventh overall and fifth on the team at the Mountain Dew Invitational...Ran a 5K career-best at the Tiger Invitational with a 17:31.94 time.

Track Highlights: Personal bests of 5:09.92 (iMile) and 4:52.93 (o1,500m).

Prep: Coached by Bob Silva and Glen Roeback … Florida state champion in the 1,600m in 2003, 2005 and 2006, in the 3,200m in 2003 and 2005 and in the 5K in 2004 … Finished second in the 3,200m in 2006 and in the 5K in 2005 and 2006 … Graduated with the King’s Academy Record in the 3,200m and 5K … Earned all-state honors in cross country all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Todd and Sherry Neal … Father earned both bachelor’s and law degrees from UF … Sister, Hillary, runs track and cross country at Samford … Also has two brothers, Andrew and Jonathan … Enjoys hiking, snorkeling and playing ultimate Frisbee … Also considered Georgia and Alabama … Chose Florida because of the coaching staff and student-athletes.
