Placed sixth for the Gators and 222nd overall at the NCAA Championships in 19:01.60....Finished second for the Gators and thirteenth overall at the NCAA South Regional in 17:28.34, earning her second career selection to the all-region team....Finished fourth for the Gators and 24th overall at the SEC Championships in 18:44.20....SEC Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Gator Invitational, running a season's best 18:09.46 while leading the team for the second time during the year... Did not finish the course at the Pre-NCAA meeet after falling... Top Gator at the Crimson Classic, leading the team to victory with a third place finish (18:06.80)... Finished second in the season-opening Nike Twi-Light in a time of 18:35.57. 1998 XC: Competed in seven events for the Gators... Grabbed her first career top-10 finish with a sixth place performance (18.49.20) at the Twi-Light... Took sixth again at the Crimson Classic in Alabama, lowering her time by over thirty seconds and finishing third for the team in 18:18.09...
