year at Arkansas State University before transferring this fall... He has five
collegiate top-10 finishes and one victory while competing for the Indians and
has a top 8k cross country time of 25:58.... He has PRs of 1:56 (800m), 3:57
(1500m), 8:43 (3000m) and 15:00 (5000m)... 1999 XC: Competed in five
meets...Ran in, but did not finish the SEC Championships....16th at the Gator
Invitational in a time of 26:23.38, his best as a Gator... Earned his first
top 10 finish for Florida with a seventh place finish at the Nike Twi-Light
Invitational in 21:12.76 (4-mile). Prior to Florida : 1998 XC: Competed
in six meets for Arkansas State... Top finish was a victory at the Arkansas
State Invitational... Top 8k time was 25:58 at the Notre Dame Invitational...
Finished in the top 10 in five of the six meets. Prep: All-city honoree
four years at Midwood High for cross country and indoor track... Holds records
for 1500m, Mile, 3000m and 5000m at Midwood... Placed fourth at USATF Junior
Olympics (Houston, Texas) 5k... 5000m National champion in Spokane, Washington..
