High School Team Camp

Team camp is designed for high school teams ONLY, not junior high. Team strategies as opposed to individual skills will be emphasized. Last year’s camp had over 90 teams attend Session II or Session IV. Competition amongst other schools takes place during each session. Team camp concludes with an all-camp tournament.

To Attend Team Camp

  • Have a minimum of 8 players and no more than 12 players from your team committed to attending Florida Volleyball Camp this summer.
  • Be a high school team and attend camp with your high school coach.
  • Have your coach send in team application and attach at least 8 player’s name and email address.
  • Florida Volleyball Camp will contact each team member via email with registration information once your school is accepted. Each member of the team that is attending camp must complete our on-line registration or return the application and consent form by July 1st, 2014.

Note To Coaches

Coaches must be in attendance during team camp and are welcome to observe any and all of individual camp. There is no charge for housing and meals for one head coach and one assistant coach per team attending individual or team camp. If you would like to work on the team camp staff, with your own team, please contact us. If not, each team will be assigned a UF camp staff member to work with the players and coach during camp. IF YOU HAVE ANY PLAYERS THAT ARE ATTENDING INDIVIDUAL CAMP AND THEN STAYING FOR TEAM CAMP, THESE CAMPERS MUST HAVE THEIR HIGH SCHOOL COACH IN ATTENDANCE BETWEEN THE TWO SESSIONS. THIS COACH MUST ARRIVE BY 12:30PM ON THE FINAL DAY OF INDIVIDUAL CAMP AND ATTEND THE MANDATORY MEETING FOR CAMPERS AND COACHES THAT ARE STAYING FOR TEAM CAMP.

UF Youth Protection Training for Summer Camps

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Florida Athletic Association are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, and/or number restrictions as specified by each camp.

For camps occurring prior to May 1, 2014, UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers currently in 9th grade or higher for the 2013-14 academic year. For camps occurring after May 1, 2014, UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers that will be in 9th grade or higher for the 2014-15 academic year. Please refer to each sport's camp page for additional information.
