3 SESSIONS THIS SUMMER!
The first two sessions are drill oriented.
A well-planned practice program allows every camper to hit hundreds of balls each day. Each half day is dedicated to a specific stroke and we cover all aspects of tennis: forehand, backhand, service, volleys, lobs, overheads, as well as singles and double strategy. Adequate practice time, drills, and sufficient time for play under the watchful eye of knowledgeable staff gives campers time to assure quality. In well supervised practices, proper stroke technique and footwork patterns are learned quickly.
These drill oriented sessions are offered the following weeks:
- June 15 – 19
- June 22 – 26
The last session is our Tournament Camp. Tournament Camp is designed for competitive players who play tournaments and want to play a lot of singles and doubles. It will be different than the first two weeks of camp. Tournament Camp emphasizes the tactical side of tennis and covers strategy in both singles and doubles. Every camper will play matches during the day and will work on their footwork and movement on the court. Our “Chalk Talks” will include offensive and defensive concepts in both singles and doubles. Tournament winners will receive a special award at the end of the week. This camp is intended for players with skill levels of intermediate and above.
Our Tournament Camp week is run:
- July 13 – 17
