Head Coach Rhonda Faehn invites campers to experience the opportunity to work with a National Championship winning staff and team for the weekend! The Gator Gymnastics summer camp is committed to providing a place where participants will experience a championship-caliber environment that is challenging, yet fun. During camp gymnasts will be placed into groups based upon their skill level and will train in our bright new world-class practice facility (click here for photos). They will be working not only with the Gator coaches but also present and former Gator gymnasts, along with talented coaches from around the nation. Emphasis will be placed upon reinforcing basic skills while pursuing new skills and skill progressions—very similar to what the Gator gymnastics team does every day! Training will be on all four competitive events, as well as Tumble Trak/trampoline, dance, and strength and conditioning. Please take a few moments to read the following information before beginning to register. Remember, we are accepting 140 campers each weekend!

$550 – Extended day camper (9am-8:00pm Friday-Saturday, 9-5 Sunday) includes lunches and Fri./Sat. dinners)
$500 – Day camper (9am-5pm daily, includes lunches only)
Each camper receives a “Florida Gymnastics” T-shirt
Eligibility: Beginner through 10 Elite, ages 8 (as of June 12, 2015) – high school senior. These camps are for girls’ artistic gymnasts only.
Registration – All registration is completely online, “first come, first served,” with payment in full by credit card. There will be no mail-in registration with payment by cash or check. The refund policy is explained by separate paragraph. All registrations must include electronic signature on the Consent to Treatment and Waiver of Liability form, and all campers must have personal (family) insurance. All registrants will receive an immediate emailed Confirmation of Registration; if not received, please check “spam” folders before notifying Lee Turner.
Medical clearance/Parent Permission/Insurance: All campers must have on file the forms described below and prior to the start of camp. The forms will be available for download as supplements to the confirmation email which will immediately follow completion of registration and payment:
- EITHER a doctor’s signature and office stamp on the Physician’s Statement form OR a school or camp physical exam completed, dated, and signed between June 12, 2014 and the first day of the first camp. Forms may be emailed to the Registrar Lee Turner at leet -at- gators.ufl.edu or faxed to (352) 338-9392.
- A parental permission slip designating the adult with whom the camper is allowed to carpool and who has the authority to sign her in or out. If the parent/guardian is driving the camper each day, that too needs to be designated on the form.
If an accident occurs, the camp’s excess medical insurance will not be considered until the family’s primary insurer has paid or denied coverage. If expenses are also declined through the excess policy, they become the personal responsibility of the camper’s parent(s) or guardian(s).
Hotels: Gainesville has over 40 hotels all listed on your favorite search sites. We recommend that you log on and make your personal selection as soon as possible from a wide variety of price and amenity choices.

Refund Policy: Cancellation for any reason prior to arrival at camp will incur a $100 cancellation fee and full payment for any clothing items ordered. If a camper is injured while at camp and a doctor’s note does not permit continuing, credit will be given for a pro-rated amount of the camp cost minus the time spent at the 2015 camp. For voluntary withdrawal, “no-shows,” or dismissal from camp there will be no refunds of any kind. Some examples of voluntary withdrawal are, but are not limited to, homesickness, Dr.’s appointment, birthday parties, school functions, music or dance recitals, etc.
Location: The gymnastics facility is located between Gates 1 and 4 of the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. The physical address of 250 Lemerand Drive has been assigned for GPS purposes. Parking accommodation will be made as necessary while dropping off on Fridays. It is hoped that those wanting to watch workouts will limit their time; observation may take place only from the limited seating available in the facility lobby; there will be no parent access to the gym itself. Due to limited space availability in these locations, there will be no parent viewing for the non-skill activities of the dance, sports nutrition, and sports psychology sessions.
Daily Work-out Needs: Leotard (and have an extra one daily), grips and any other personal equipment (wrist guards, beam shoes, etc.), shorts and shirt and tennis shoes or flip flops for walking to/eating at Gator Dining, small bag with name on it for holding items. Cell phones are not permitted for use during the camp day (including meal times) except for emergency.

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Florida Athletic Association are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, and/or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
- All campers are required to provide a Waiver of liability/Hold Harmless Agreement.
- All campers are required to provide a physician’s statement. A copy of a physical completed within one year prior to camp is acceptable in lieu of physician’s signature.
- All campers are required to have medical insurance.
For camps occurring prior to May 1, 2015, UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers currently in 9th grade or higher for the 2014-15 academic year. For camps occurring after May 1, 2015, UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers that will be in 9th grade or higher for the 2015-16 academic year.
