Gators Camps and Clinics Women's Basketball Summer Camps
Player Development Camp
Player Development Camp is designed to improve basic skills such as defense, shooting and rebounding. Campers will be grouped based on age and skill level. Within these groups, there will be team, league and individual competitions.
Registration will begin at 10am on June 16th
General camp hours: 6/16: noon – 5pm; 6/17: 9am-5pm; 6/18: 9am-noon
Meals included are:
Breakfast (1/17 & 1/18), Lunch (1/17), Dinner (1/16 & 1/ 17)
*Dinner is for overnight campers only
Cost: $200 (commuter) / $225 (overnight)
* Only athletes who are entering the 9th grade (completed the 8th grade) may register as ‘overnight campers.’
Age: All Girls 8 years old to 12th grade
Team Camp is designed for middle and high school teams. Each team is guaranteed 6 games in 2 days. There are 2 divisions of play: Varsity and Junior Varsity. You can then rank your team within each division according to the level of play at which you would like to compete (1-6 with 6 being the highest). There are no meals or housing provided.
Cost: $100 per team + $20 per player
* There is a minimum of 8 players per team required.
Gator for a Day I
This camp is not for the light at heart. It will be a full day of non-stop action. You will have the opportunity to interact with Gator coaches and players on the court and off the court. Camp will consist of practice drills, scrimmages and team competition. After this day, you will really know what it is like to be a GATOR FOR A DAY!
Registration will begin at 11AM on June 29th
General camp hours: 12PM – 4PM
Camp is open to all girls going into grades 8-12.
Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Florida Athletic Association are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, and/or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
For camps occurring prior to May 1, 2014, UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers currently in 9th grade or higher for the 2013-14 academic year. For camps occurring after May 1, 2014, UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers that will be in 9th grade or higher for the 2014-15 academic year.
