FLORIDA GATOR LACROSSE CAMP (Commuter Camp ONLY)
- DATE: June 24-26, 2013 (7 sessions)
- AGE: Open to all girls in grades 5-9
- FEE*: $375 Commuters
Florida Gator Lacrosse Camp is an instructional camp for players who are looking to develop basic lacrosse skills and game concepts!
*Fee includes instruction, meals, room, reversible jersey, water bottle and lanyard.

REGISTRATION: We are only accepting on-line registration for camp. There is no fee for this service.
Follow these steps for registration:
- Click on the REGISTER NOW button.
- Agree to the Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement/Consent to Medical Treatment form.
- Complete registration form with all the necessary fields.
- Provide camp with a signed Physician’s Statement or copy of recent school physical (within the last 12 months) in lieu of physician’s signature. This document must be faxed (352-373-1432) to the Lacrosse Office or emailed no later than WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2013.

GOALKEEPERS
Goalkeepers will receive specialized training from outstanding coaches.
All keepers will train in a separate setting with individual instruction focusing on quickness, technique and game situations. Goalkeepers will also practice in skill session drills and be placed on a tournament team.
FACILITIES:
Camps will be conducted at the University of Florida Lacrosse Facility and James G. Pressly Stadium. The new state-of-the-art Lacrosse Facility has grass fields suitable for cleats or turf shoes.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
University of Florida Dorms- AIR CONDITIONED!
ROOMMATES:
Fill out the roommate request section during the registration process. All parties involved must request each other. These requests are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate you.
Roommate requests must be selected by WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2013.
MEALS:
All meals will be held at the Gator Dining Hall on campus.
CHECK-IN:
Registration and check-in will take place from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Graham Hall Lobby. All commuters must register at this time.
CHECK-OUT:
Check-out will take place from 2:00-3:00pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Graham Hall Lobby.
DIRECTIONS:
Please visit campusmap.ufl.edu for directions. They will also be emailed to you with your registration confirmation.
COMMUTERS:
Daily drop off is at 8:30am at the dormitory and pick up is 9:15pm at the dormitory. Commuters will be provided with lunch and dinner.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS:
Recommended airports and the estimated mileage:
- We strongly recommend using the Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV); 15 miles from UF. Call for taxi from GNV airport to UF/Graham Hall then call for taxi from UF/Graham Hall back to GNV airport. Taxi estimated cost $20 each way.

CAMP AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE:
Roundtrip Camp Airport Shuttle Service is ONLY available from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) to University of Florida/dormitory.
Jacksonville Airport Shuttle information:
The shuttle will depart the Jacksonville airport at 12:00pm on Monday, June 24, 2013. Please schedule arrival time into JAX airport no later than 11:30am. The return shuttle will depart the University of Florida/dormitory for JAX airport at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Please schedule departing flights from JAX airport after 5:00pm. Register and pay $75 roundtrip fee for the Camp Airport Shuttle Service during online registration. Florida Lacrosse Camp is not responsible for campers that do not schedule flights around Camp Airport Shuttle Service departure times.
MUST REGISTER FOR AIRPORT SHUTTLE NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2013.
PARKING DURING CAMP:
If you would like to park your car on campus during camp, you must register and pay for the parking permit during online camp registration. The cost to park for 3 days is $15. Florida Lacrosse Camps are not responsible for any parking violations incurred during camp for those parking without a permit.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:
If cancellation is made via email on or before WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2013 a $100 cancellation fee will apply. You will be refunded 50% of the remaining balance and 50% will be credited to Florida Summer Camp. Any cancellations made after WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2013 will result in no refund.

WHAT TO BRING:
Stick, goalie equipment (goalies only), eyewear, mouth guard, gloves, cleats for grass, turf shoes, 7 sessions worth of T-shirts, shorts, socks, rain gear, one sweat shirt, toiletries, sun block, a bathing suit for the outdoor pool, cell phone and some cash for evening pizza and the camp store. You also need to bring sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. Dorms are air conditioned. We strongly suggest that you leave all jewelry and valuables at home. Camp staff will not be responsible for any lost items.
CAMP STORE:
At registration/check-in, check-out and in the evenings there will be a camp store that will feature Gator Lacrosse items and other selected things. Pizza will be available for sale after the evening sessions.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITY ACT:
Individuals with disabilities requiring special accommodation should contact the Camp Director within seven (7) days of the first day of the camp so the proper consideration may be made to the request.
MEDICAL INSURANCE:
The Camp carries an EXCESS medical insurance policy to cover medical expenses for injuries/accidents, which occur in the course of the camp’s activities. Medical expenses which are declined payment through the participant’s personal insurance and/or through the excess policy become the responsibility of the participant’s parents/ guardians. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE TO PARTICIPATE.
