GAME: had one of the most well-rounded debuts in a Gator uniform in program history, as her 21 points tied for the third-most ever (junior Bridget Pettis had 30 at West Virginia on Nov. 24, 1991; freshman Bernice Mosby has 25 vs. Lamar on Nov. 24, 2002; freshman Terry Whitehead had 21 at Virginia on Nov. 21, 1981), as well as tied for the second-most ever by a true freshman; her seven field goals tied for the fourth most, while her field-goal percentage of 77.8 (7-9) was second only to Murriel Page’s 81.8 percent (9-11) effort against Arizona on Nov. 25, 1994; her 11 free throw attempts tied for the most-ever in a Gator debut, while her seven made from the line were the second most and her five offensive rebounds tied for the third-most …tied for second-most blocks in a game (9 vs. Alabama State, Dec. 20, 2010) … tied for second-most blocks in a game by a Gator sophomore (9 vs. Alabama State, Dec. 20, 2010)

during the same game topped the 3,000-minute mark, the 12th Gator to do so in a career ... started 31 games and played 35 of 37 games ... did not dress in the season-opener due to personal reasons - first game she missed in her career ... also did not dress for Jan. 20 game vs. South Carolina because of injury (re-dislocated shoulder in prior game, Jan. 13 vs. Tennessee) ... led UF in rebounding, blocks and steals; fourth-most by a Gator senior ... 66 steals ranked as fifth-most by a Gator senior ... ranked second on the team with 12 possible three-point plays, hitting 6-of-12 free throws ... in the two-point WNIT round of 16 win at Charlotte (March 27), collected teammate Jaterra Bond’s missed free throw with 20.1 seconds remaining that helped set up the game-winning shot with two seconds remaining, as she finished with 14 points, four rebounds, three blocks and two steals ... during the WNIT second round win at Winthrop (March 25), collected her 900th career rebound, becoming only the seventh Gator to record as many in a career ... topped the 1,200-point plateau at South Carolina (March 3) ... with one block at Alabama (Feb. 24) moved into sole possession of fourth in Gator history for blocks (173) ... during her final regular-season home game, recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds, in addition to three assists, three blocks and two steals in the win against Arkansas (Feb. 28) ... with one block versus Vanderbilt (Feb. 21) tied DeLisha Milton for fourth in program history (172); also posted her first double-double (13 pts, 11 reb) since dislocating her shoulder vs. LSU (Jan. 6), while collecting her 850th career rebound ... collected the 150th steal of her career in Feb. 17 game vs. Georgia, when she scored a game-high 17 points with seven rebounds ... her sixth of eight rebounds against Texas A&M (Feb. 14) moved her into 10th place in program history, passing Merlakia Jones’ 830 boards ... dished a career-high seven assists in the win versus Alabama (Feb. 3), also collecting eight rebounds with three blocked shots ... topped the 800-career rebound mark in the game against Ole Miss (Jan. 24), becoming only the 11th Gator to score 1,000 points and collect 800 rebounds; also blocked four shots that tied her for fifth in UF history with 160 career swats ... made her return to the court from injury in the Ole Miss game (Jan. 24) with 5:54 remaining in the first half and totaled 23 minutes of action, scoring six points with five rebounds and four blocked shots ... forced to leave the overtime game versus #9 Tennessee (Jan. 13) with 3:56 remaining in the first half after reinjuring her dislocated shoulder; had been UF’s leading scorer with eight points (which was the 1,100th of her career) with two rebounds, two assists and one steal before the injury and missed the final 29 minutes of the three-point overtime loss ... came off the bench at Mississippi State (Jan. 10) because of injury and played a season-low 17 minutes; did not score, snapping a streak of 47 straight games with at least one point, but still managed three rebounds, three blocked shots and an assist … scored the first seven points of the game in the win vs. LSU (Jan. 6), finishing with 15 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals before having to leave the game with 5:06 remaining after dislocating her right shoulder ... her 14-point, 11-rebound effort at No. 6 Kentucky (Jan. 3) was her sixth double-double of the season and 25th of her career ... with UF holding a two-point lead against Holy Cross (Dec. 28), scored 13 of her game-high 21 points during an game-changing 18-minute span that blew the game open; also collected a game-high 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the year and tallied her second 20-point game of the year and the sixth of her career ... voted to the Gator Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team (Dec. 21) after helping UF earn two wins and averaging 11.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and hitting 61.1 percent (11-18) from the floor ... converted fourth straight double-double 14 points (50th double-figure scoring game of career) and a game-high 11 rebounds (which included the 750th of her career) against Savannah State (Dec. 20), when she hit 7-of-9 shots with three assists and two steals in 23 minutes ... recorded her third double-double of the year and led UF to its first road win of the year (at La Salle, Dec. 16), charting 19 points (converted her first nine attempts) and 11 rebounds, while blocking two shots ... her 17th and final point in the win against Pacific (Dec. 7) came from the free throw line with 22 seconds remaining and was the 1,000th-point of her career, as she became the 21st Gator to reach the scoring milestone ... tallied back-to-back double-doubles, most recently the 17-point, 12-rebound effort against Pacific (Dec. 7) when she also tied a career-high with five steals in the seven-point win ... posted her first double-double of the year with 14 points and 12 rebounds versus Troy (Dec. 4) ... her 45th career start came at Michigan (Dec. 1) ... shared team-high scoring honors with 11 points against Arizona State (Nov. 25), topping the 950 career-point plateau ... collected a season-high four steals while scoring 13 points with seven rebounds, three blocks and two assists in the thrilling win against N.C. Junior Year (2011-12)

One of five Gators who appeared in all 33 games … started 27 games … voted by the league’s coaches to their First Team All-SEC … led UF in scoring (12.8 ppg), rebounding (8.8 rpg) - an effort that also ranked second in the SEC (all games) - field goal percentage (53.7%), free throw attempts (135) and double-figure scoring games (24), while ranking second for blocked shots (53) and made free throws (72) … led the SEC (all games) in offensive rebounds (3.7 pg) and doubles-doubles (15), and ranked No. 2 for rebounding, No. 4 for defensive rebounds (5.0 pg), No. 3 for field goal percentage, No. 5 for blocked shots and No. 9 for scoring … her fourth of five rebounds against top-seeded and eventual champion Baylor in the NCAA Second Round was her 650th career rebound ... in the NCAA First Round upset win against No. 18/20 Ohio State, scored a team-high 16 points that included a basket with 45 seconds remaining that gave UF a four-point lead ... her first blocked shot of the game against Kentucky (Jan. 1 was the 100th of her career (Keyla Snowden, 14:13 mark of first half), as she became the eighth Gator to block 100 in career … midway through the season compiled a streak of eight consecutive double-doubles, a run that ranked tied as the fourth-longest in UF history … the catalyst in UF winning its own Gator Holiday Classic, as she totaled 34 points and 23 rebounds en route to earning MVP honors - the first time she has been voted MVP – as she posted a double-double in both tournament wins, extending her double-double streak to four games, the first time a Gator had strung together as many since Vanessa Hayden did so midway thru the 2003-04 season, while shooting an incredible 72.2 percent (13-of18) from the floor as she also was rewarded as the SEC Player of the Week for the first time in her career … earned a spot on the Courtyard LaGuardia Turkey Classic All-Tournament Team (hosted by LIU in Brooklyn, Nov. 25-26) after averaging 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds, while converting 68.8 percent from the field (11-16) … named the team’s ‘Most Improved Player’ and its ‘Most Valuable Player’ at the postseason banquet … recorded two 20-point games: 24 at San Francisco (Dec. 7) and 21 vs. Stetson (Nov. 14) … did not score on her only shot attempt and was held scoreless with three rebounds in the season-opener against Michigan (Nov. 11) … UF’s leading scorer in a game 14 times, rebounder in 24 games and assists leader in 2 games … team-high 24 double-figure scoring games … 2 20-point games … 15 double-figure rebounding games … 15 double-doubles

 

Sophomore Year (2010-11)

Appeared in all 35 games … started five, most recently at Tennessee (Feb. 10) … earned the team’s Gameday Brickhouse award … led UF in field goal percentage (54.4%); ranked second for blocked shots (46) and rebounding (5.6 pg); ranked fifth for scoring (6.8 ppg) … tied as UF’s second-leading rebounder in SEC games (5.3 pg) and ranked fifth for scoring (8.2 ppg) … in the three postseason WNIT games averaged 9.3 rebounds (13 of 28 on offensive end) and blocked a team-best eight shots … in UF’s two SEC Tournament games, tied as second-leading rebounder with 6.0 per game, collecting a team-best six on the offensive end … notched third double-double of year against FGCU (March 21), with 10 points and 11 rebounds … in the upset of No. 22 Georgia (Feb. 27), scored eight points, hitting 6-of-6 from the free throw line and her lone field goal coming with 48 seconds remaining that gave UF a 72-71 lead … tied her career-high of 21 points, hitting 7-of-7 from the floor and 7-of-12 from the free throw line, while blocking three shots versus Mississippi State (Feb. 20) … just missed a double-double at Alabama (Feb. 13), with 10 points and nine rebounds in 21 minutes … led UF with a then-season-high 20 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in the double-overtime loss to Vanderbilt (Feb. 6), as her tough offensive put back with 12.4 seconds remaining in regulation tied the score at 85-all and helped send the game into overtime … in the two-point loss to Ole Miss (Feb. 3), completed a three-point play with 1:19 on the clock and had the Gators within one, 56-55, as she finished with 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting with a team-best nine rebounds … against Alabama (Jan. 27), her three-point play with 1:43 remaining gave UF a 62-55 lead, as she ended with a team-high tying 12 points and five rebounds with two blocks in 23 minutes  … collected a team-high 10 rebounds in the win at South Carolina, including all four of UF’s offensive boards … solid showing in the SEC opener against No. 22/24 Arkansas (Jan. 2), scoring 10 points with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 28 minutes … blocked a career-best nine shots in the victory against Alabama State (Dec. 20), tied for the second-most rejections in a single game in school history (Vanessa Hayden holds the school record with 10 blocked shots against Kent State on Dec. 29, 2001), as she became just the second different player in school history to chart nine or more blocks in a single game … during the eight-point win against Old Dominion (Nov. 30), grabbed a then-career-high 12 rebounds … made the most of her first start of the season (UNF) as she scored 13 points with a career-high-tying 10 rebounds for her second career double-double and first of the year, along with a career-high four assists to go with four blocks and two steals … grabbed a team-high-tying eight rebounds in the season-opening win against UCF … 11 double-figure scoring game (most recently 10 points at FGCU, March 21) … five double-figure rebounding games (most recently 11 at FGCU, March 21) … three double-doubles

 

Freshman Year (2009-10)

Voted to the seven-member SEC All-Freshman Team by the league’s coaches ... appeared in all 32 games, with five starts, averaging 19.3 minutes ... scored in 30 games, including each of the last 14 ... leading scorer off the bench and fifth overall (6.6 ppg) ... team leader with 88 trips to the free throw line ... Graduated from Bishop Moore High School in May of 2009 ... guided the Hornets to the 2009 FHSAA Class 4A Championship Game where it fell 52-47 to Astronaut H.S., one year after winning the school’s first-ever title … contributed seven points and 14 rebounds in her prep finale … 2009 McDonald’s All-American Game Nominee … led BMHS to the 2008 State 4A Championship and a 28-4 record her junior year when she averaged 13 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, and shot 60 percent from the field during that championship season … in the 2008 title game against Pensacola, collected a game-high 12 rebounds and helped the Hornets to the convincing 55-39 win … earned a spot on the 2008  Class 4A FSWA All-Tournament Team … honored as a 2009 Class 4A First-Team All-State selection by the Florida Sports Writers Association, after earning second-team honors as a junior and third-team recognition her sophomore year … ranked as the fifth-best player in state’s Class of 2009 by FloridaHoops.com … BMSH athletic program finished second in the state of Florida in the 2009 Class 4A Dodge All-Sports Award and fifth in the Orlando Sentinel Varsity Sports Super 6, which includes all classifications … coached at BMHS her senior year by Kristy Colligan … attended Timber Creek HS as a freshman in 2005-06 … played summer ball with the Orlando Comets, which won the state title eight straight years and coached by Jack Givens … also considered Miami (Fla.) and Vanderbilt in the recruiting process.
