Freshman Year (2009-10)

Announced intentions to transfer prior to the start of the 2010 Postseason WNIT and left the team, but remained enrolled at UF to complete the academic semester ... appeared in 18 games, averaged 5.6 minutes ... scored in 11 games, including in three of the last four she played ... against LSU (Feb. 11), played a season-long 15 minutes and took a season-high six shot attempts from the field, while blocking two shots and collecting one steal ... saw six minutes of action against Alabama (Jan. 21), scoring in an SEC game for the first time in her career, contributing four points, while collecting a career-high two steals ... played less than one minute at Georgia (Jan. 10) in her SEC debut ... eight of her 17 total rebounds were on the offensive end ... tied her career-high of five points when she went 2-for-2 from the floor and 1-of-3 from the line against Southern (Dec. 20) in eight minutes of action ... made an immediate impact in the win at Old Dominion (Dec. 11), when she came up with a steal and an offensive rebound in less than one minute, while getting to the free throw line four times in three minutes ... collected a huge offensive rebound in the final minute of the first half at FIU (Nov. 29), that allowed UF to set up a final play that worked to perfection and gave the Gators the momentum heading into halftime ... played a solid 11 minutes against UAB, scoring five points and grabbing a pair of rebounds ... in the season-opener (Nov. 14 vs. Stetson), scored four points, hitting 2-of-3 field goal attempts while grabbing a pair of rebounds in six minutes of action … scored her first collegiate points on an offensive put-back with 1:11 remaining in the game against Stetson (Nov. 14)

Graduated from West Charlotte High School on June 15, 2009 ... leading vote-getter for the 2008 and 2009 Associated Press North Carolina All-State teams … led WCHS to the 2009 4A state championship, the program’s first-ever state title … averaged 17.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, three assists and three steals per game her final season … named 2009 Ms. North Carolina Basketball … voted 2009 Western Regional and State Finals MVP … the Charlotte Observer’s 2008 and 2009 ME-CA 7 4A Player of the Year … the Lions' leading scorer and rebounder all four years, compiling a 103-18 record … played in the 35th North Carolina Coaches Association East-West All-Star Game held in the Greensboro Coliseum on July 20, 2009, when she scored 13 points and guided the West squad to the 87-77 win … 2008 Western Regional MVP … 2009 McDonald’s All-American Game Nominee … led WCHS to the 2008 NCHSAA 4A State Championship game – its first-ever trip to the final - before falling to Westover, 58-53, as Caldwell scored 22 points … Lions posted a 30-3 overall record in 2008, including a 12-0 mark in league play, when she averaged 19.1 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game … eclipsed the 1,000-point career milestone during her junior year … her 39-point performance is a WCHS single-game record for boys and girls … 2008 EA Sports Second Team All-American … coached at WCHS by Reginald Mobley … also played for Lady Star Elite coached by Andre Green and for Peach State Elite coached by Brandon Clay and Tony Gore … also considered Miami (Fla.), Kentucky and Clemson in the recruiting process.
