Ebonie Crawford provided height to Florida’s post game … great work ethic and the drive to improve … once aspired to become a forensic medical examiner, having witnessed three autopsies at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) … named to the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, as well as the 2008 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll … 2009 & 2010 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar … earned her bachelor’s degree in criminology in December of 2010 and began coursework toward a master’s degree in the 2011 spring semester.

 

Senior Year (2010-11)

Earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll … appeared in 16 games, the last coming in the season finale at Charlotte (March 24) in the postseason WNIT … named the team’s co-recipient of the Academic Achievement Award … earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll … versus No. 22 Georgia (Feb. 27), knocked down two free throws with 1.2 seconds remaining in the first half that tied the score entering the locker room; also collected one rebound in the win on Senior Day … did not travel with the team to Nashville for its Feb. 25 game against Vanderbilt due to illness … played six minutes against Tennessee (Jan. 13) and collected two offensive rebounds … did not suit up at Auburn (Jan. 6) because of illness … played a season-long nine minutes against Alabama State (Dec. 20) … earned her bachelor’s degree on Dec. 18 and began working toward a master’s degree during the spring of 2011 … played three minutes against South Alabama (Nov. 26) and was credited by Coach Butler for sparking the team’s effort in the first half of the win, as she hit a 15-foot jumper and drew a charge … saw five minutes of court time at Hampton (Dec. 10) and grabbed one offensive rebound … played a then-season-long nine minutes in the home win against Harvard (Dec. 7) … played two minutes during the first half in the win against Providence (Dec. 4) … appearance against South Alabama was her first game action since March 18, 2010 versus South Florida and her points marked the first time she scored since Dec. 12, 2008 against Florida A&M, when she hit her only field goal attempt of the game

 

Junior Year (2009-10)

Appeared in seven games ... totaled 14 minutes of action ... played the final ticks of the upset win against 20th-ranked Georgia ... made her season debut during the game against Southern (Dec. 20), playing three minutes ... spend the majority of the year rehabilitating tendonitis in her Achilles ... engaged in practice activities for the first time during the week of Dec. 14th ...  did not travel with the team to Pittsburgh (Nov. 20) or attend the game against UAB (Nov. 24), tending to a family matter ... earned a place on the 2010 SEC Academic Honor Roll

 

Sophomore Year (2008-09)

Appeared in 11 games, including both NCAA Tournament games ... last significant action was at Alabama (Feb. 5), when she played the final four minutes and grabbed one rebound … totaled 34 minutes played, three rebounds and one steals … scored two points, hitting her lone field-goal attempt against Florida A&M (Dec. 12), also grabbed a pair of rebounds in the contest … strained her right hamstring during practice on Jan. 6, did not suit up against Mississippi State (Jan. 8) or Auburn (Jan. 11), but did at South Carolina (Jan. 15), however, did not see action ... earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

 

Freshman Year (2007-08)

Appeared in 25 games, while averaging 5.8 minutes per game … did not dress for the game versus Saint Louis (Dec. 22) due to illness … totaled 17 points and 33 rebounds, with 15 of those on the offensive end … played in both SEC Tournament games, totaling 15 minutes, while hitting her only field goal attempt (vs. South Carolina) and collecting three rebounds (two against Tennessee) along with one steal … scored a season-high four points and grabbed a season-high four rebounds in the season-opening win against Xavier (Nov. 9) … played double-figure minutes four times, logging a season-long 13 minutes against Robert Morris (Nov. 12) ... named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

 

High School

Graduated from Paideia High School in June of 2007 ... helped the Pythons to three consecutive appearances in the Georgia Class AA State Tournament ... named 2007 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Class AA Honorable Mention All-State … team captain her senior year ... nominee for the 2007 McDonald’s High School All-America Game ... ranked No. 114 in Blue Star’s Top 200 for 2007 ... Paideia record-holder for most rebounds in a game (18) ... a two-time Street and Smith Honorable Mention All-American (2006 & 2007) ... a three-year starter and a four-year varsity team performer, totaling 658 points and 656 rebounds during her career ... as a senior, averaged nine points and 10 rebounds per game ... participated in 2006 adidas Top Ten All-American Summer Camp ... earned all-region and all-state honorable mention in 2007 ... 2007 McDonalds High School Team All-American nominee … member of the 2006 adidas Top 10 All-American Camp … ranked as the 33rd top center by All Girls Report, summer 2006 ... played with the Georgia Hoopstars AAU team since the eighth grade.
