Played in all 30 games ... first post off the bench, averaged 14.7 minutes per game ... scored in all but one game … voted to the All-SEC Freshmen Team by the league’s coaches ... UF’s fourth-leading rebounder (4.5 rpg) and sixth-leading scorer (6.8 ppg) ... in SEC games averaged 7.0 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 54.9 percent from the floor ... shot a team-high 55.7 percent (83-149) from the floor, becoming the sixth freshman to lead the Gators in field goal percentage, joining UF greats Quientella Bonner, Tammy Jackson, Merlakia Jones, Murriel Page and Vanessa Hayden … scored eight points in both of UF’s final two games, including the NCAA first-round contest when she hit 4-of-6 from the field ... went 8-for-8 from the free throw line en route to eight points with five rebounds in the win against No. 2 LSU (Feb. 16) ... ignited the Gators’ win at Mississippi State (Feb. 9), scoring 10 points with nine rebounds in 23 minutes ... named SEC Freshman of the Week for Jan. 16-22 after helping UF to wins over Ole Miss and No. 19 Vanderbilt by averaging a team-best 15 points with 7 rebounds while shooting 91.7 percent (11-12) from the floor ... Graduated in June of 2005 from Mifflin High School, where she was coached by Troy Taylor … finalist for the 2005 McDonald’s All-American game … received Honorable Mention notice for the 2005 WBCA High School All-America Game … rated No. 30 in Blue Star’s listing of the Top 100 seniors … selected first-team 2005 Associated Press Division I Girls All-Ohio … averaged 18.9 points per game her senior year … 2005 District 10 Player of the Year for Division I … directed Mifflin High School to a 23-1 record her junior season, averaging 18.3 points and 13.4 rebounds while shooting 74 percent from the free throw line … the Punchers captured the Division II state title her sophomore year and was runner up her freshman season … helped the 2004 USA Youth Development Festival North Team to the silver medal as the squad’s third-leading scorer and second-leading rebounder, with 10.2 points and 7.0 rebounds … one of just 31 players in the country invited to the 2004 U.S. Junior National Team Trials … named to the 2003-2004 Associated Press Division I Girls All-Ohio high school basketball second team.
