Brooke Cornish is an agile post player who can score on the block sports a finesse game and brings offensive versatility to the court first Gator ever to wear the No. 41 jersey fourth different Gator from the state of Pennsylvania earned 2006 Southeastern Conference Freshman Academic Honor Roll accolades ... trained and conditioned in Gainesville in addition to completing classes during the 2005 Summer B session the first of six players who gave their verbal commitment to comprise the Gators' heralded 2005-06 freshmen class.

Freshman Year (2005-06) Played in seven games, most recently versus Kentucky (Jan. 12) when she played less than one minute ... totaled 34 minutes of playing time, when she combined for nine points and five rebounds ... scored in four games ... tallied a season/career-high four points against FAMU (Dec. 21) while grabbing three rebounds in 12 minutes of action ... scored her first collegiate points on Nov. 27, hitting her lone field goal attempt - a long jumper from the corner - vs. Stetson ... saw nine minutes of action in the season-opener against St. Francis (NY), collecting one rebound and one assist and shooting 0-2 from the free throw line ... had surgery on September 6, 2005 to repair a navicular stress fracture on her left foot, but missed only one exhibition game as a result of the injury.

High School Graduated in June of 2005 from Archbishop John Carroll High School, where she was coached by Barry Kirsch and Mountain MacGillivray sidelined for her entire senior year with a stress fracture in her left foot nominee for the 2005 McDonald's All-American game and the WBCA All-American game 2004 adidas Top 10 All-American participant school and league record-holder with 106 blocks in a season also set school and league records with 15 blocks in a game against Cardinal Dougherty in a 2003 Philadelphia Catholic League playoff game helped Archbishop Carroll High School win back-to-back Catholic league titles in 2003 and 2004 averaged 8.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game her junior season, leading the Patriots to a 23-5 mark rated No. 92 in Blue Star's listing of the Top 100 seniors a 2003 and 2004 All-Delaware County and All-Philadelphia Catholic League selection 2003 and 2004 honorable mention Street & Smith All-American a 2004 adidas Top Ten Camp performer scored 20 points versus Christ the King HS during the Scholastic Play by Player Network Tournament en route to earning MVP honors of the event her freshman season.
