Tishona (tish-SHAWN-uh) Gregory is a quick, scrappy guard who excels on the defensive end … member of the 2004 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll ... nickname is "T" … 21 double-figure scoring games … started the final 59 games of her career … on pace to earn her bachelor's degree in Sociology in August 2005.

Senior Year (2004-05) Completed the season and her career having started 59 consecutive games, which was tied for the longest active streak with Brittany Davis … one of only two players (with Davis) who started every game … led team in assists (81), ranked second for steals (44) and third for three-pointers (23) … ranked third on the team for average minutes played (25.7)… broke out of a scoring drought with 10 points in the SEC Tournament against Alabama (March 3), after totaling just eight points in UF's prior six games, shooting 3-for-25 from the field … busted out of an earlier scoring slump by contributing 14 against Vanderbilt (Jan. 30) after totaling just one point in UF's previous three outings … scored a career-high 17 points versus Temple (Dec. 4), when she hit 4-of-7 from the three-point arc … seven double-figure scoring games.

Junior Year (2003-04) UF's starting point guard every game, averaging 23.2 minutes … member of the 2004 Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll ... UF's fifth-leading scorer (5.8 per game) with third most assists ... was 39-of-42 (92.9 percent) from the free throw line ... began the year hitting her first 18 attempts from the free throw line ... hit 18 straight from the charity stripe entering the NCAA second round game and season finale against Baylor (March 22), but missed her first two during the contest and ended the game 2-of-4 from the line ... scored seven points in the first round of the NCAA Championship against New Mexico (March 20), netting five in the final 1:41 of the game that included a steal resulting in a break away layup and a three-point play when UF held a 58-56 lead and the Lobos were staging a furious rally … led UF in scoring once (vs. BCC) and in assists six times … solid defensively against Kentucky (Feb. 8), helping the Wildcats commit 19 turnovers … produced a stellar defensive effort against Vanderbilt (Jan. 11), when she collected a career-high seven steals, setting the Gator record for steals in an SEC game … scored a season-high 14 points twice (Alabama and Bethune-Cookman) … suffered a broken nose during the Dec. 14 game versus UCSB … four double-figure scoring games.

Sophomore Year (2002-03) Played in 23 of the 28 games, earning seven starting assignments ... ranked fifth on the team in scoring, assists per game and steals per game ... UF's leading scorer in three games ... played a solid 20 minutes in the win over Ole Miss (Feb. 27), when she tallied nine points on 2-of-4 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line ... tallied nine points at Alabama (Feb. 16), which included a 3-pointer with 1:25 remaining to tie the game and a driving layup with eight seconds left to bring UF within one point ... UF's leading scorer with 11 points in the loss at Arkansas (Jan. 16) ... tallied 13 points in the loss against Georgia (Jan. 12) ... played a season-high 39 minutes against Virginia (Dec. 29), scoring 12 points with five rebounds in the final of the State Farm Classic, helping UF overcome a 12-point, second-half deficit in the win … tied her career-high of 15 points for the second time during the season, helping UF defeat UMass (Dec. 28) in a double-overtime thriller … against UCF (Dec. 11) tied her career-high with 15 points, igniting a 31-7 run in the second-half with back-to-back three-pointers with just under 15 minutes remaining … saw her first action of the season against Miami (Dec. 3), playing five minutes in the win over the Hurricanes … six double-figure scoring games.

Freshman Year (2001-02) Earned 13 starting assignments during the season, including the season finale against BYU (March 16) in the first round of the NCAA Championship … appeared in all except one game - the season-opener against Oakland (Nov. 16) … started the second half of the game at Georgia (Feb. 17), scoring seven points and grabbing a season-high seven rebounds … hit two clutch free throws with 38.6 seconds remaining in the game to help secure the upset win over No. 16/17 Georgia (Jan. 27), nailing both ends of a 1+1 to give UF a 71-64 lead ... played a key six minutes in the upset win at No. 6/5 Vanderbilt (Jan. 24), when she made a outstanding pass into the post over 6-foot-6 Chantelle Anderson, which led to UF's double-figure lead with 5:18 remaining ... made the most of her first collegiate start, contributing 15 points with a team-high five assists while playing all 45 minutes in the overtime win at Florida State on Nov. 29 … scored five points in her collegiate debut, hitting her only shot attempted from the floor and converting both free throw attempts against High Point (Nov. 16) … sparked UF's offense off the bench against Wisconsin (Nov. 25), scoring eight in 14 minutes of action before fouling out …four double-figure scoring games.

High School Graduated from Martin Luther King High School in 2001 … captained Detroit King her final two years … guided the Crusaders her senior season to the Class A title game, where the Crusaders lost 55-50 to Lansing Everett and suffered its only loss of the season to finish 21-1 … tabbed Michigan All-State First Team … one of 11 finalists for Michigan's Miss Basketball … averaged 12 points, six assists, four steals and 3.5 steals per game her senior season, in addition to shooting 60-percent from the field and 70-percent from the free throw line … named First Team Dream Team 2000: Class A by The Detroit News … invited to the 2000 Nike All-American camp … a USA Today and a Street & Smith Honorable Mention All-American … First Team All-Metro (Detroit) selection … played for the Michigan Cross Over AAU team that placed fourth at Junior Nationals in Washington, D.C. … named All-State in track in 1999 and 2000 as a member of the 400 meter relay team … the Crusader track team placed fourth in the state of Michigan in 1999 … coached at Detroit King by William Winfield, who was named the 2000 Class A Coach of the Year by The Detroit News.
