Tamia (tuh-ME-uh) Williams added almost 25 pounds of muscle to her lean frame from her freshman to senior year … able to play any position on the perimeter … nicknamed "Tee" … member of the 2003, 2004 & 2005 Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll … 2004 State Farm Classic All-Tournament Team (UF home event) … SEC Player of the Week (Jan. 10, 2005) … 29 double-figure scoring games, with six 20-point performances … completed eligibility with 125 career three-pointers, the fourth-most in UF history … hit 33.8 percent (125-370) from the three-point arc, the fourth-highest percentage in program history … received her degree in Family, Youth & Community Sciences on May 4, 2005.

Senior Year (2004-05) UF's second-leading scorer with 11.8 points per game … appeared in all 29 games, starting 20 … named to the 2005 Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll ... had the best statistical season of her career, more than doubling her average in every significant category … emerged as UF's second-leading scorer and top three-point threat, hitting 35.9 percent (65-181) from behind the arc … her 65 three-pointers were the fifth most by a Gator during a season … held a streak of 14 consecutive games hitting at least one three-pointer, which at the time was the fourth longest streak in UF history … scored in double-figures in 14 of the last 18 games, including an 11-point effort during her collegiate finale on March 17 at USF … contributed 15 points with three assists versus Alabama (March 3) in the SEC Tournament … her start against Richmond December 21 was her first time in the starting lineup since Feb. 23, 2003 … rebounded from an off shooting night against Alabama on Feb. 6 with a game-high 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting (5-7 from the three-point line) in the road win at Kentucky (Feb. 10) … was UF's leading scorer in nine of the last 17 games: Charlotte (20), USF (13), Arkansas (23), Auburn (22), LSU (15), South Carolina (21), Kentucky (19), Vanderbilt (22) and USF (11) … became the sixth Gator ever to net 100 career three-pointers when she sank her fourth trey against Ole Miss on Jan. 23 … at South Carolina scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the final 15 minutes, sparking UF's 24-2 run and rallying from a 12-point deficit en route to the win … named the SEC Co-Player of the Week on January 10 after she tallied back-to-back 20-point performances for the first time in her career, helping the Gators defeat Arkansas and Auburn, when she averaged 22.5 points, shooting 55.6 percent (15-27) from the floor, including a 55.3 percent (8-15) mark from the three-point arc, also hitting 7-of-8 free throws, all which came during the closing minutes of both tight ball games … for the first time in her career collected All-Tournament honors, when she recorded two-game totals of 24 points (20 in the championship game versus Charlotte, Dec. 30) and nine rebounds helping UF win the State Farm Classic title … scored a career-high of 23 points twice this season, in wins against Temple (Dec. 4) and Arkansas (Jan. 6) … dished a career-high six assists in win against Charlotte (Dec. 30) … collected a career-high five steals at Baylor (Dec. 19) … 18 double-figure scoring games, with six 20-point performances.

Junior Year (2003-04) Appeared in 21 games, averaging 7.3 minutes … played double-figure minutes nine times, including the season finale in the second round of the NCAA Championship, when she played 11 minutes against Baylor (March 22), hitting 1-of-2 from the three-point line ... averaged 34.2 percent (13-38) from beyond the arc ... tied her season-high with eight points in addition to recording two rebounds and one steal in 10 minutes at LSU (Jan. 15) … played a season-high 18 minutes against Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 19), scoring six points with five assists in the win … recorded eight points, two steals and one rebound in 11 minutes against LaSalle (Nov. 23) ... member of the 2004 Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll.

Sophomore Year (2002-03) Played in 27 of UF's 28 games, earning seven starting assignments ... named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … did not see action during the George Washington contest (Jan. 26) ... scored in 21 of the 27 games she played, netting a season-high 16 points at Ole Miss (Jan. 9) ... UF's fourth-leading scorer ... team leader in 3-pointers made, attempted and percentage ... ranked second on team for assists and steals ... scored 10 points with four assists in the season finale against Vanderbilt (March 6) ... tallied 11 points with three assists and a team-high three steals in 23 minutes of action at Georgia (Mar. 1) ... dished a team-high four assists and collected three steals in 16 minutes of action in the win over Ole Miss (Feb. 27) ... with 11 points at Kentucky (Feb. 20), she broke out of a four-game scoring drought, after having scored in just six (5 vs. Vandy; 3 points at USC) in UF's previous eight games ... UF's leading scorer with 16 at Ole Miss (Jan. 9) and 14 against Georgia (Jan. 12) ... UF's leading scorer in four games … team leader in assists four times… scored 13 of her team-high 16 points during the second-half rally at Ole Miss (Jan. 9), which fell just short in the 74-72 loss ... scored a career-high 17 points in the loss at Oregon State (Dec. 14), hitting 6-of-8 from the field, including 3-of-4 from the 3-point line … 10 double-figure scoring games.

Freshman Year (2001-02) Appeared in all 29 games, earning three starts ... ranked second on the team in assists, leading UF in eight games … played a career-high 29 minutes against No. 11 South Carolina (Feb. 3), scoring nine points with seven rebounds and three assists ... solid in the win over No. 17/16 Georgia, scoring five points with four rebounds in 22 minutes ... played an outstanding 16 minutes in the upset win at No. 6/5 Vanderbilt (Jan. 24), as she came off the bench in the second half, collected a tipped defensive rebound from Courtney Cooper and ran the length of the floor, converted the layup, was fouled and made her first collegiate free throw to give Florida its first lead since the opening basket of the game, 38-37, with 12:10 remaining and the Gators wouldn't trail again; Williams then continued her offensive outburst by hitting a 3-pointer from the left side ... went 3-of-3 from the field for six points and collected three steals in 10 minutes of work against Ole Miss (Jan. 20) ... recorded seven points on 3-of-3 shooting in the loss to Tennessee (Jan. 3) … dished five assists with four steals in the win over Duquesne (Dec. 28) … started the first three games of the year, becoming the first freshman to earn a starting nod since Brandi McCain during the 1998-99 season … scored her first collegiate points on Nov. 20, tallying 11 in the win over High Point … one double-figure scoring game.

High School Graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School in 2001 … one of the highest rated prep players in the state of Florida, ranking as high as no. 8 in the country by All-Star Girls Report … posted four-year career statistics with the Gators of 1,411 points (13.4 ppg), 499 rebounds (4.8 rpg), 486 assists (4.6 apg) and 296 steals (2.8 spg), while shooting 32-percent (100-for-313) from the 3-point line and 72-percent (131-for-183) from the free throw line … during her senior year she averaged 17.6 points, with 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.7 steals, while hitting 3-pointers at a 41-percent (32-for-77) clip … named Second Team All-State by the FHSAA following her senior season, in addition to being selected as the District 9-6A Player of the Year, The Palm Beach Post Girls All-Area Player of the Year, The Sun Sentinel's All-Area First Team … named to The Palm Beach Post Fab Five team in November of 2000 … scored 11 points to lead the South team over the North squad 71-62 at the FACA girls basketball All-Star game at The Lakeland Center and earned most valuable player honors on March 3, 2001 … selected her junior year as First Team All-Area by The Palm Beach Post after averaging 13.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.0 steals while leading the Gators to a 23-4 record … Honorable Mention All-State performer and a First Team All-Conference selection following her junior season … coached by Jim Traugh her first three years and by Charlie Reppel her senior season.
