Bernice Mosby officially was dismissed from the team on March 23, 2005 … voted 2004 Southeastern Conference Sixth Woman of the Year ... 2005 Second Team All-SEC selection by the coaches and media named to the 2003 SEC All-Freshman team ... member of the 2004 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll ... 2002 and 2004 State Farm Classic MVP (UF home tournament) … named to the 2004-05 Junkanoo Jam All-Tournament Team (The Bahamas) … 2003-04 Boston University All-Tournament team … two-time SEC Player of the Week … in addition to taking classes during the 2004 Summer A and B sessions, trained and conditioned in Gainesville, focused on improving her shooting range … 59 double-figure scoring efforts … 21 double-figure rebounding marks … 17 double-doubles … 18th Gator to score 1,000 career points … 1,124 career points ranked No. 16 all-time at UF.

Junior Year (2004-05) Removed from the team on February 25 and did not play the final four games of the season … started all 25 games she played ... Second Team All-SEC selection by the coaches and media … UF's leading scorer (15.5 points) and rebounder (8.6 per game) … started all 25 games she played, averaging a team-best 30.3 minutes per contest … became the 18th Gator to score 1,000 career points, when she topped the plateau on January 27 at Georgia, hitting the milestone with 5:28 remaining in the first half of her 77th game as a Gator, tying for eighth fastest to reach the mark … collected her seventh double-double of the year with a 17-point, 16-rebound effort against Mississippi State (Feb. 13) … UF's leading scorer in 11 games - most recently on Feb. 6 when she contributed 24 at Alabama (Feb. 6), with 17 of those coming in the final 7:35 of the game … netted a season-high 28 points against Tennessee (Feb. 3) … tallied her sixth double-double with a 17-point, 12 rebound effort at South Carolina (Jan. 16) … her fourth double-double of the year was an impressive 20-point, 17 rebound effort in the thrilling double-overtime loss to Richmond (Dec. 21) … recognized as the State Farm Classic MVP (Dec. 30), after totaling 36 points and 12 rebounds helping UF win its home event title … named SEC Player of the Week on Dec. 13 after guiding UF to three victories and extending the Gator's winning streak to six, the longest win stretch in two-plus years under head coach Carolyn Peck … during wins over Delaware State, Stetson and Oregon State, she averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds per game while contributing seven assists, three blocks and two steals and shooting a steady 54.8 percent (23-42) from the floor and hitting 73.7 percent (14-19) of her free throws … hit a season-high 27 points in the win versus Stetson (Dec. 8) … named to the Junkanoo Jam All-Tournament Team after logging two-game totals of 32 points and 16 rebounds and helping UF to a third-place finish … preseason candidate for the Naismith Trophy, Preseason Street & Smith's Honorable Mention All-American and Preseason Second Team All-SEC (coaches team) … tallied 20 double-figure scoring efforts (59 in career) … nine double-figure rebounding marks (21 in career) … seven double-doubles (17 in career).

High School Graduated in 2002 from Hernando High School, where there was a different coach each of her final three years ... finalist for the 2002 McDonalds All-American game … helped the Leopards post a 23-5 record her final year, as HHS won the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) and 3A-6 District titles before falling one win shy of the state Final Four … ended four-year career scoring a Hernando county-record 2,163 points … her final season, averaged 27.8 points, 13.2 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game, while shooting 60.2 percent from the field … she scored a county-record 47 points during a 64-52 win over Lecanto HS on December 14, 2001 … four-time GCAC All-Star team honoree … scored 779 points during her senior season, breaking her own school record of 599 … 2002 3A First Team All-State … 2002 All-County … consensus 2002 County Player of the Year … named the St. Petersburg Times All-Suncoast Girls Basketball Player of the Year as a senior and a junior, when she led HHS to the Class 4A regional final with a 23-4 record and averaged 22.7 points and 12.8 rebounds … compiled in 2002 by the St. Petersburg Times after polling the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference coaches, rated Mosby the prep league's Best Clutch Shooter, Best Rebounder, Best Shot-Blocker, Best at Creating Shot, Best at Moving Without Ball, and Always in Position … 2001 adidas Top Ten Camp Upperclass All-Star, 2001 Street & Smith All-America Honorable Mention, 2001 AAU 16U All-American, 4A All-State Third Team, Region Player of the Year, All-Conference First Team … Leopards reached the state Final Four her freshman year with a 31-2 record … also an honorable mention All-Suncoast performer in volleyball … played for the AAU Clearwater Green Wave, which was coached by John East … also considered LSU, Connecticut, Auburn and Florida State.
