GATORS IN THE NBA FINALS
Udonis Haslem and Jason Williams were 40 percent of the Miami Heat's starting lineup, helping guide their team to the 2006 NBA title. The tandem became the first former Gators to win an NBA title since Vernon Maxwell was a member of the Houston Rockets' 1994 and 1995 NBA champion squads. Matt Bonner added to that distinguished list in 2007 as a member of the San Antonio Spurs, as the University of Florida is one of only three schools to have a member of each of the last two NBA champions.
