A hard-working athletic forward who loves physical play and rebounding on both ends of the floor...Able to use his strength, quick first step and athleticism to slash to the basket…Saw his potential unleashed as a senior as he led UF with 13.8 points and earned Wooden All-American and first-team All-SEC honors from coaches and AP…Also named honorable mention All-American by USA Today and AP…Finalist for the USBWA Oscar Robertson Trophy and earned a place on the group’s All-District IV team…Finished his career in UF’s all-time top 10 in field goal percentage…Had his initial breakout performance as a sophomore with 14 points in Florida’s NCAA Tournament win vs. Virginia in 2012…Four-star recruit by both Rivals.com and Scout.com.

 

AS A SENIOR IN 2013-14: Led UF in scoring and earned a host of All-American and All-SEC honors…Became the third Gator under Billy Donovan to record three 27-point games in a single season, joining Nick Calathes (2008-09) and Teddy Dupay (2000-01)…Totaled six 20-point games…Exploded for a career-best 28 points in UF’s season opener vs. UNF...Went 10-for-11 from the field and set a new career-best of five assists vs. UALR...Grabbed a team-high nine boards against Southern, matching a career best, and led the team with four assists...Shot 11-for-13 from the field at Jacksonville, finishing with 27 points, 5 rebounds, three assists and one block...Went 6-10 from the field and 7-9 from the charity stripe against FSU...Led the Gators in scoring with 19 points at UConn...Shot a career-best 10-for-12 from the free-throw line vs. Kansas...Finished the Jimmy V. PREP: A finalist for Tennessee’s Mr. Basketball his senior season after averaging 29 points, 13 rebounds, five blocks, five steals and three assists…Scored over 2,000 career points at North Side High School while being coached by Tony Brown...Named to the 2010 TSWA Class AA All-State Basketball Team…Member of the Nashville Celtics AAU team that captured the 2010 River City Showdown Championship… Selected to the All-District team and was named team MVP all four seasons on varsity (2006-10)… Selected to the district’s All-Tournament team his sophomore, junior and senior seasons…Named All-West Player of the Year in 2008-09 and 2009-10… Notched 53 points and 24 rebounds in a game his junior year…Competed in the Florida vs. USA Hardwood Classic All-Star Game in Orlando, Fla. as a member of Team USA.
