AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007-08: Was UF’s first player off the bench a team-high 28 times, averaging 4.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game…Had the highest percentage of offensive rebounds (out of total rebounds) of any Gator last season, 41.9 percent…Hit 54 percent from the floor and was second on the team in blocked shots with 23… Averaged 18.0 minutes in two exhibition games, shooting 83.3-percent from the floor for 11.5 points per game with 14 rebounds and three blocks ... Shot 2-of-4 from the field in his collegiate debut against North Dakota State, scoring four points and snagging an offensive rebound in 17 minutes ... Scored eight points and slapped his first two blocks of the season against Tennessee Tech ... Scored double-digits for the first time in his career with 13 points against North Carolina Central, while also snagging five rebounds and blocking two shots ... Pitched in three points, to go with a rebound and a block, in the win over Rutgers ... Shot 3-of-4 from the field for 9 points, while registering two blocks, against North Florida ... PREP: Helped Harmony Community to the prep school national championship game in 2006, falling just short in the title game…Played two years at Harmony Community in Cincinnati for Mark Metza after playing the first two years of high school ball at Hazelwood Central (Mo.) for Dennis Kruse…A four-year starter at his two high schools…Was the MVP of the 2006 ABCD All-Star Camp in Teaneck, N.J….Attended the camp in both 2005 and 2006…Played against Greg Oden, the No. 1 pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, at the 2005 and 2006 Las Vegas Big-Time Tournament.
