A dependable guard that gives the Gators additional backcourt depth has played three seasons as a walk-on… Appeared in 33 games since walking on in the summer of 2008 and earning a spot on the roster.

 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2010-11: Saw action in eight games, averaging 0.9 points and 0.4 rebounds in 21 total minutes… Appeared in the final two minutes of Florida’s 77-60 season-opening victory against UNC-Wilmington, pulling down a rebound... Recorded his first career block and recorded a steal for just the second time in his career in the home win vs. North Carolina A&T... Grabbed a season-high two rebounds in the home victory over Morehead State... Recorded a steal in the road win at American... Tied a career high with four points and one steal, including a career-best two free-throws made, in the home triumph vs. Rhode Island... Dished out his second assist of the season in the home win against Arkansas... Saw game action in the final minute of the Senior Night home victory over Alabama...Made three of four free throws in Florida’s win over UCSB in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009-10: Appeared in 11 games as a sophomore…Saw his first action of the season in Game 2 of the 2009 Legends Classic...Saw action in the closing minute of the victory over Florida State...Saw a minute of action in the championship game of the 2009 Legends Classic as the Gators defeated Rutgers...Got in on the final minute of play in the home victory over FAMU...Saw 13 minutes of action on the floor as UF defeated American, grabbing a rebound and his first career steal in the win...Clocked a career-best 22 minutes, scoring his first point of the season with a free throw and pulling down a season-best two rebounds as the Gators topped Presbyterian Dec. 30...Played four minutes as the Gators topped NC State on the road in an overtime thriller...Played the final minute in Florida’s 72-58 win over LSU at home...Played six minutes in UF’s game versus South Carolina on the road, hitting a season-best one field goal to contribute two points and a rebound...Helped the Gators out in the 78-76 heartbreaker at UGA, contributing five minutes off the bench.

PREP: Set a school record for most points in a career (1,503) and best winning percentage (.750 +)…Voted Class 6A Player of the Year for Orange and Seminole Counties by the Florida Athletics Coaches Association, as well as earning second-team All-State, first-team All-Central Florida and first-team All-Orange County honors as a senior…Averaged 20 points, six rebounds, four assists and 3 three steals per game in his final season for Winter Park…Team captain and MVP of the Wildcats team that finished first in the district and Metro league with a 28-2 record in 2007-08…Helped Winter Park reach the state Final Four and garnered second-team All-Orange County honors as a junior…Played in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star game and the Orlando Senior Showcase…Competed for OBL Elite and Florida Fasttrack in the AAU league.
