A flexible forward capable of playing multiple positions…Missed the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons due to various injuries, but decided to graduate on schedule and declined to utilize the extra eligibility…Made his final appearance in Florida’s senior night win over Alabama…Displayed remarkable range his freshman year at Florida, connecting on 42.1 percent of his three-point attempts, and 48.0 percent from the floor overall…A two-time Pensacola News-Journal Player of the Year and the runner-up for Mr. Basketball in the state of Florida to former teammate Nick Calathes while in high school…Comes from a strong basketball background, his father Randy played collegiately at Florida State, in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings and overseas for seven years.

 

AS A SENIOR IN 2010-11: Appeared in the closing moments of Florida’s senior night win over Alabama that clinched a share of the SEC title.

 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2009-10: Missed the 2009-10 season after having two surgeries to repair a stress fracture in his left leg.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008-09: Missed the 2008-09 season...Suffered a sprained knee in a scrimmage on Oct. 24th...Had surgery to repair it on Dec. 30.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007-08: Played in all 36 games his freshman year, averaging 4.0 points, 0.8 rebounds and hitting 42.1 percent from beyond the arc (second on the team)… Averaged 11.5 points per game during the exhibition season, shooting a team high 5-for-8 (.625) from beyond the arc...Recorded seven points in 13 minutes on the court against North Dakota State in the season opener, hitting 2-of-2 from beyond the arc...Scored 15 points against Tennessee Tech, shooting 6-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc...Scored seven points and nabbed two defensive rebounds before fouling out against North Carolina Central...Shot 4-of-5 from the floor, tallying five points and two rebounds,  in the win over Rutgers...Scored all nine of his points against North Florida in the second half,  shooting 3-of-5 from beyond the arc, against the Ospreys...Also picked up his first career block and steal against UNF...Dished out three assists, while scoring eight against the Seminoles...Shot 50% from the field, beyond the arc and at the free throw line for six points against Stetson...Saw limited playing time against Vermont...Made a three-pointer and snagged a rebound against Jacksonville...Scored a career-high 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, against Florida A&M...Saw limited playing time against Georgia Southern...Tallied three points, while pulling down two rebounds and snagging a steal, in the win over CSU...Tallied two points in 10 minutes at Ohio State...Saw limited time against Temple, playing four minutes...Finished with six points in nine minutes in the win over High Point ...Chipped in with five points, a rebound and a block in the road win over Alabama...Had two points in six minutes versus Auburn...Saw limited action against Mississippi in Oxford...Knocked down a trey on his only shot of the game in the home win over Kentucky...Chipped in with four points and an assist in the road win over South Carolina...Scored five points in 11 minutes off the bench at Arkansas...Saw five minutes of action at Tennessee...Contributed five points and an assist in six minutes of work in the home win over Georgia...Knocked down two 3-pointers and was 2-for-2 from the field with six points in six minutes against LSU...Grabbed three rebounds -- one shy of a career high -- in 10 minutes of action at Vanderbilt ... Erupted for nine points on a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range in only nine minutes of action versus South Carolina...Contributed two assists and finished one 3-point field goal shy of a career high against the Gamecocks...Saw limited playing time at Georgia, at home against Mississippi State and versus Tennessee...Recorded one rebound in seven minutes at Kentucky...Pitched in five points and a steal against Alabama at the SEC Tournament...Helped out with three points and two boards in the win over San Diego State in the opening round of the MasterCard NIT...Scored three points in the NIT second-round win over Creighton...Played four minutes in NIT quarterfinal at Arizona State...Scored four points in eight minutes of action versus UMass in NIT semifinal.

 

PREP: Left Milton High School as the school’s all-time leader in points (2,317), rebounds (1,200) and blocked shots (321)…The Pensacola News-Journal Player of the Year for 2005-06 and 2006-07…The runner-up for Mr. Basketball in the state of Florida in 2006-07 and the 4A State Player of the Year…He was the Milton High School Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2006-07…Earned First Team All-Area from his sophomore year on…Helped Milton High School to a 54-10 record of the last two years, going 27-6, winning the Region 1-4A Championship in 2005-06, reaching the state Final Four and finishing as the Class 4A state runner-up…Milton went 27-4 in 2006-07, reaching the Regional title game for the second straight year…Allen averaged 20.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 2.8 blocks as a junior…He solidified his reputation as one of the top players in the state in 2006-07, averaging a career-best 24.7 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 3.5 blocks per contest…Was a McDonald’s All-American nominee in 2007…Was the MVP of the Glenn Academy  (Ga.) Christmas Tournament (2005) and of the George Taylor (Ky.) Classic (2006)…At the George Taylor Classic, he set a tournament record, averaging 26.7 points per game.
