AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007-08: Led UF in three-point field goal percentage, hitting 43.5 percent from beyond the arc (37-85), a number that was a near-identical 43.2 percent in SEC play (16-37)…Started all 36 games for the Gators and had 15 games scoring in double-figures, the fourth-highest total on the squad…Converted 5-of-7 three-point plays and hit 14-of-19 shots from the line with under three minutes remaining…Averaged 8.5 points per game and hit 71.4 percent from the line…Earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team… Averaged 13.0 points and four assists a contest during the exhibition season ... Handed out a team-high four assists in the season-opener against North Dakota State, to go along with eight points and four defensive rebounds ... Shot 4-of-8 from the field, while sinking 5-of-7 from the charity stripe, for 13 points in the Tennessee Tech contest ... Scored six points against North Carolina Central, while also dishing out three assists and snaring a steal ... PREP: Averaged 26.3 points and dished out 7.5 assists per game for Bellaire High School his senior year, helping his squad to three consecutive District titles…A 2007 McDonald’s All-American, a Parade All-American and a Jordan All-American…Was the three-time District 21 5A Player of the Year while at Bellaire…Helped his school to the 2006 Region 3 championship.

PERSONAL: The son of John and Deedgra Lucas…The youngest of three children, he has an older brother, John (24) and an older sister, Tarvia (28)…Father is a former NBA player from 1976-90 (Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Washington Bullets, Seattle Super Sonics and Golden State Warriors) and former NBA coach (San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers)…He was a first round NBA pick in 1976 out of Maryland…His brother John is currently on the Houston Rockets…Born Dec. 5, 1988.
