AS A SOPHOMORE (2014): Led the squad with a .337 average in his 44 starts in center field and batted third for the Gators…Had a career-high 24 RBI, to go along with 27 runs, 15 walks, six doubles, two homers and two triples…Was 13-for-19 on the basepaths and had five sacrifice hits…Committed just one error for a .993 fielding percentage and had three outfield assists...Earned second-team All-SEC recognition after batting .303 with 20 runs, 15 RBI and 10 stolen bases in league action...Batted .390 (32-for-82) against non-ranked teams and hit .347 (26-for-75) in home games…Was Florida’s top hitter with a .500 (13-for-26) clip in seven postseason outings…Chosen to the NCAA Gainesville Regional All-Tourney Team after going 3-for-7 (.429) over the Gators’ two contests…Went 2-for-5 with a run scored against the College of Charleston and was 1-for-2 with two hit-by-pitches and a walk versus North Carolina…Made the SEC All-Tournament Team after hitting .526 (10-for-19) during Florida’s five games in Hoover, with three RBI and a pair of doubles…Went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs as the Gators edged Kentucky, 6-5, to reach the SEC Tourney’s championship game…Had a two-run single in the fifth that gave UF a 4-3 lead and then delivered a game-tying RBI single in the seventh after the Wildcats had plated a pair of runs in the sixth…Was 3-for-5 against No. 22 Mississippi State and also notched multiple-hit outings versus No. 6 South Carolina (2-for-3) and in the opener with Kentucky (2-for-4)…Tied the series opener at Tennessee with a two-out double in the ninth inning and scored the go-ahead run with two down in the 11th frame after stealing second and advancing around the bases on a pair of errors…Went 3-for-5 in the first win over the Vols…Tallied three RBI in the win over USF...Hit .385 (5-for-13) in the sweep of No. 20 Alabama, including a 3-for-6, two-RBI performance in the finale…Homered and collected two RBI against Florida A&M…Went 4-for-10 (.400) as UF took all three games from Georgia, highlighted by a 3-for-3 effort in game three in which he scored three times…Was 3-for-6 and scored the winning run in the 13-inning battle at No. 4 South Carolina…Snapped a 1-1 tie with an RBI triple in the sixth inning to lead the Gators over No. 1 Florida State at McKethan Stadium…Debuted with a 2-for-4 showing against Arkansas.

 

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Saw action in all 59 games, with 57 starts (35-LF, 22-CF), and led the Gators with a .312 batting average and 15 stolen bases in 21 attempts…Tied Justin Shafer for the team lead with 69 hits and was second on the squad with 37 runs, 17 multiple-hit games and a .371 on-base percentage…Drew 18 walks and chipped in with 10 extra-base hits (seven doubles, two triples and one homer)… Earned a berth on the SEC’s All-Freshman Team…Starting all 30 of the Gators’ league contests, Bader ranked second on the squad with a .307 batting average, tied for second on the club with 13 RBI, tied for fourth with 14 runs and led Florida with seven stolen bases in eight attempts…Went 4-for-7 (.571) at the NCAA Bloomington Regional…Raised hitting streak to a career-high nine games by going 2-for-5 against Valparaiso, scored twice and had a stolen base…Began the NCAA Tournament by going 2-for-2 with a sacrifice hit versus Austin Peay…Was 1-for-3 with a theft in his SEC Tournament debut against Texas A&M…Snapped a 2-2 tie with an RBI single in the ninth inning to lift the Gators to a series-opening victory at Georgia…Also contributed a sacrifice fly in that outing…Established a career high by driving in four runs in the romp over Florida A&M, going 2-for-3 in the contest…Turned in a 3-for-4 effort in the 10-inning win against Tennessee that clinched the series…Scored three runs and was 2-for-3 in the 12-1 triumph over No. 25 USF…Was chosen as the SEC Freshman of the Week on April 15 after batting .462 (6-for-13) in the Gators’ 4-0 stretch that included a win at No. 7 Florida State and a sweep of No. 8 South Carolina…Bader hit .444 (4-for-9) in UF’s three victories over the Gamecocks, with a team-leading four RBI and was 2-for-2 on the basepaths…It marked only the fourth time in school history that Florida swept South Carolina in a regular-season series and the first time since 2009…Playing left field, Bader went 1-for-3 with two runs and a pair of RBI in Saturday’s finale, with a run-scoring single in the second inning that had given UF a 2-1 lead and also lofted his first career sacrifice fly during the 10-run, sixth-inning outburst that resulted in a 14-5 win...On Friday night, Bader delivered a two-run, two-out single in the eighth inning that turned a 3-2 deficit into a 4-3 triumph…In his first visit to Tallahassee, he went 2-for-4 and scored three runs as the Gators downed the Seminoles, 4-3…With the score tied, the rookie led off the ninth inning by reaching second base on an error, took third on a failed pickoff attempt and scored the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly by Josh Tobias…Bader also robbed Florida State of a potential home run at the left-field wall to end the fifth when the contest was deadlocked at 2-2…Blasted his first career homer in the sixth inning during the 7-0 shutout of No. 11 Ole Miss…Batted .385 (5-for-13) on the opening weekend of SEC play versus No. 10 Kentucky, highlighted by a 3-for-4, two-RBI effort in game two…Was 3-for-4 and scored three runs in the front end of the home-and-home series with Jacksonville…Singled and scored twice in his first collegiate game against Duke while playing left field and occupying the leadoff spot.

 

SUMMER: Was one of the three Gators on the Bourne (Mass.) Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League last summer, joining Richie Martin and Brett Morales…Bourne brought home the President’s Cup for the league’s best record and captured the Western Division but fell in the semifinal round of the divisional playoffs…Hit .234 in 39 games, with 20 runs, 16 RBI and eight stolen bases…Was hit a team-leading 11 times, totaled four doubles and belted three homers…Played for the Lakeshore (Wis.) Chinooks of the Northwoods League in 2013, along with UF teammate Eric Hanhold…Batted .290 in 20 games, with 17 runs, 15 walks, 14 RBI, six doubles and three homers…Was 6-for-10 on stolen-base opportunities.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Outfielder from Horace Mann School who played for head coach Neil Berniker…Earned first-team all-region, first-team all-state, first-team all-city and was a member of the 2012 Rawlings Northeast All-Region First Team…Ranked No. 500 by Perfect Game and No. 19 in the state of New York…Was competing in the Perfect Game 18-U Baseball Championship Series National Tournament in July 2012 for the New York Grays and coach David Owens when he met Gator assistant coach Craig Bell…Had an outstanding junior campaign and hit .500 with a slugging percentage of .783 and played flawless defense in the outfield for Horace Mann.
